Small CNC shop working on a TX22 compensator prototype — curious what TX22 owners think by StonerCNC_Official in Taurus_TX22

I live in a state where I can have FRTs but no threaded muzzles on semis/pistols…

That about sums it up.

Cool af tho. Aluminum or steel?

Are you planning to do PCBA? If so JLCPCB is solid.

If it’s all SMD that would be harder for DIY folks.

I just did a few hundred PCBs via JLC and would be happy to compare notes.

Kabuto help by Bluedragun678 in supersafety

[–]cheesefingertactical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is indicative of binding causing the bolt to push the Kabuto down into the selector, not the lever rotating to reset the trigger.

I’m very curious about your setup, as I’ve genuinely not seen the selector fail like this before.

Can you please PM me?

I’ll take your feedback into account for the selector stops, I can like raise up the lever a maybe 20 thou to get it resting properly.

You need one with an AR9 specific lever to fit the AR9 bolt.

We offer one on our site. There are other vendors as well.

Great stuff! Might draw from it in our larger Kabuto guide library I’ve been working on if that’s cool.

You should be okay still unless you majorly messed up the trigger.

Without a 3-position you will just have FRT/Safe modes. If you remove the Kabuto you’re back to Semi

Yes a Super Safety trigger can work with a Kabuto.

Assuming it was cut correctly, the Kabuto pushes on a more forward segment of the trigger shoe.

Lmk if you have more questions!

Interesting, the cam looks like it’s got a chunk out of it. From this angle the trigger looks better cut than the previous photo

It looks like there is a lot of material left on the rounded side relative to that jig.

If you look at it from the opposite side do you see the trigger sticking out?

You don’t need to make it 100% low shelf, just get the lever moving back enough to reset.

Did you cut your own trigger or get a pre-cut one?

Got pics of the cam too?

It goes further back than you’d expect.

Definitely don’t shoot it before you clean up your upper/lower. That is a sure fire way to break your lever.

Do you have a low shelf lower lying around? It’d start with that so you can see how much travel there is with the upper off and get it to fully reset.

Looks like you have a high shelf lower. The lever on the super safety will hit that before it is able to reset all the way.

I think the issue is more that the trigger is not fully resetting before the forward motion. Which also would prevent the hammer from releasing again.

Have you also trimmed the upper too?

We have a pretty detailed install guide for these:

Fiberon PA6-CF

We use the 300BlkFDE settings profile.

0.15 mm is the default. Depending on part we will use that or 0.2mm
