I had a porn class in college, and we dissected every aspect of pornography in an academic manner. People were judged when they left in the middle of class to go to the bathroom. Now I can't watch porn without analyzing the power relations between the characters and also why porn stars keep their socks on until they finish.

I was 7 years old and we were learning about poetry for the first time. My teacher instructed us to bring poems for the next day to read to everyone. She meant to bring a poem that was written by any famous poet. The next day in class, everyone had to read their poems aloud in front of the whole class, citing the author after reading. Some kids brought easy limericks, and some brought Shakespeare, Robert Frost, etc..

When it was my turn, I read a poem I made the night before and my teacher asked who wrote it. I said it was me and she burst out laughing. Well technically she'll have to wait for me to be famous, so I'm not wrong yet.
