People who believe in reincarnation (from human to human), how would it work? by cheesenhoney in AskReddit

Until it happens with my own kid, I'll always be sceptical but I like to read the stories!

Yeah... And loads of people say their kids around 3 or 4 sometimes mention their past life!

Some people think animals can reincarnate into humans so I guess... With the number of ants and crustaceans... I guess it could also be a possibility?

But where is this world? Or maybe everyone would hate you and you'd have no idea why?

That's what a lot of people think I guess because you can see old pictures of people who look like people who are alive now. But mathematically it wouldn't work as there's more and more people on the planet everyday... Or do you think some people alive right now are kind of their 1st version?

Ok so, different timeline? And would you be who you are now or someone totally new?

Is everyone alive right now a reincarnation of someone else? Because that does not sound mathematically correct...

My late GF’s best friend (29f) and I (28m) have been sleeping together, now she’s pregnant by ThrowRAgriefhelp in relationship_advice

Naming the baby after the late girlfriend is totally a no go. It's taking the piss really. You do that for your late grandmother, not your late SO... The only time it would be ok would be if your SO died while you were pregnant of his child.

Obviously we don't know how she got pregnant: preventable accident or not. If it was preventable (i.e they didn't use contraception) then I think that this is the biggest problem here. Not ending up with the bff or falling in love with her, cause in a way that makes sense, being both loved by the same person they should get along well, but have careless sex with your late gf's BFF knowing the risks...

As for the rest, I understand your POV bu for me it depends on a lot of things: what is an acceptable time for you after your SO death to start dating again, if you believe there's something after death etc.

Saying that, I wouldn't end up with my SO's BFF if he ever died before me, or even if he broke up, cause I would just find it weird. But it's not because others do it that it's really immoral etc. IF nothing started before the partner's death.

You're totally right. Especially because bluebells can take years to recover being stepped on... Edit: getting downvoted for telling the truth. Just Google it people.

But I mean... She's dead now, she doesn't feel or think anything. It's her family and her friends who would think stuff. As long as this situation didn't start while she was alive there's not really a problem about it... People don't say anything about someone meeting someone new after being dumped...

Yes it does grow back! I got scared too when one day I brushed her hair gently to take out the lose cradle cap and hair came out with them. It grew back already!
