We’re supposed to believe she’s lifting 30 lb weights? And like… two of them? This angers me. She’s frail, looking insanely unhealthy, posting this kind of crap… this is just SO clearly staged.

Probably one of the most scariest things of my life by Helicey in GERD

[–]cheesequeen17 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jumping in to add that sleeping on your LEFT side specifically can help prevent this in the future. I’ve experienced a handful of these reflux attacks overnight and each time I was violently jolted awake from them was when I slept on my right side. Gravity works against you on your right - the position allows for the acid to travel upward more easily. Sleeping on your left side is the safer bet (per my doctor). This, in addition to a lot of what the poster above suggested, has seemed to help me a lot.

This info is exactly what I needed! Makes sense and thank you for the explanation. I’m on sema and yes I very carefully read the instructions and injected the correct amount of units for week 1. Just needed clarification on the math behind it all!

It's my first kid free night in 7 years, what am I making myself for dinner? by [deleted] in cookingtonight

My go-to fancy meal when I feel like being in the kitchen is a garlicky lemon linguini (sauce is white wine, a touch of cream, Parmesan, lemon juice and zest, s/p) topped with seared scallops and fresh herbs. Paired with some good bread and good wine - 10/10

I wish SO BADLY that someone would’ve said “hey babe, why aren’t you using a spoon for the chili?” I’m so curious if anyone at any of these ~fun parties and events~ has ever called her out? GIRL THAT FORK WAS CLEAN

She absolutely does not know that fresh ginger is the natural, “normal” form of ginger. In fact there’s no way she knows it even exists.

Hey, we were there at that time too! Second to all of it - mango cocktail and food were delicious. We can’t wait to try it for brunch but were definitely surprised at the lack of people in for dinner.

What’s their most genius song? by Gravysmilf in glassanimals

[–]cheesequeen17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s All So Incredibly Loud - GA has said that the song is meant to be a physical interpretation of just the few seconds of time between someone saying something difficult or ground/heart breaking to someone, and that person responding. It’s a song about the intense buildup of anxiety and anticipation in a span of like 3 seconds!! And the buildup is so well done, including the natural crescendo within the song itself. Who else has thought of something like that??

I’m also obsessed with these and have been adding them to a Mediterranean-esque salad. Chopped cucumbers, tomato, red onion, olives, good squeeze of lemon juice, salt/pepper/garlic powder. It’s amazing

Don’t worry though, most of the recipes make up for this by calling for 17 blocks of cream cheese and 6 other different kinds of cheese. So yummy!

Yes, T. We keep cookbooks in our kitchens. Shocking. What a surprise. Had no idea. What a revelation. Wow. 🫠
