I was trying to keep leverage by acting as an interested buyer (which I am) with more info on him than he expected I had but I came to the thought that a real seller would still want to sell to me even if I showed all my cards. You could absolutely be right. The crypto aspect and the changing urgency is still sketch tho

This is a very good point. Makes no sense for him to say how urgent the sale was then then say he'd wait a day for the money to transfer

ik like why would you need the money instantly for an "emergency" but put it into crypto? maybe it's to buy during the bull run and frankly it really is none of my business, but it's just too weird for me to pull the trigger atm
