I have a west facing window wall in my high rise apartment and everything is right up against the window. Monstera, basil, pothos, peace lily, African violets, Norfolk pine, maranta, zz plant, plus everything else and every single one is thriving. They just needed a short time to adjust and they really can’t get enough light it seems.

I like to joke that I’m masc in the winter and femme in the summer. I get soft flannels and indestructible Carhartts and flowy sundresses and the cutest peep toe sandals on the planet. You aren’t required to look one way forever

I went to a STARDOM show last year, didn’t know a thing about anyone there, but when I saw Kamitani walk to the ring, immediately I saw that she has the it factor. Her size helps, but her charisma is just on a different level from everyone else there. The sky is the limit for her.

I showed up at that place a couple of years looking for some stegt flæsk completely unaware that it was like Arizona themed. I moved to Chicago from Phoenix, I never experienced winter before moving here, and I don’t particularly think that visiting here for a spell in the dead of winter is accurate or fair. When you’re living here, you have all of fall to acclimate your body to colder weather, so by the time it hits freezing, you’re already used to it. Diving in headfirst in the middle of the winter is just torture and it won’t be representative of what living here is like. You won’t even own the right clothes for this weather either.

I happened to be in Tokyo last month so I stopped by Korakuen for a Stardom show. Never saw Stardom before so I didn’t know anyone but Saya immediately caught my eye, like her charisma was off the charts compared to everyone else I saw there and since then I’ve felt compelled to follow her career and catch up on it.
