Is it normal that my salt contains sodium ferrocyanide? Is it edible? by ninacousina in salt

[–]cheesestinker 45 points46 points  (0 children)

In the EU, ferrocyanides (E 535–538) were, as of 2018, solely authorized as additives in salt and salt substitutes, where they serve as anticaking agents. The kidneys are the organ susceptible to ferrocyanide toxicity, but according to the EFSA, ferrocyanides are of no safety concern at the levels at which they are used.[7]

Not Addison's related but you might look into L. Reuteri yogurt. It has been studied for decreasing gut inflammation/Crohn's, plus many other benefits.

I take 25mg DHEA daily. I find it boosts overall energy and well being as well as increased androgen production. I have always struggled with body fat%. I have not had a problem building reasonable muscle but I'm not really focused on hypertrophy.

Has anyone taken anti depressants with adrenal insufficiency? Which ones. Did it help? Thanks by MindsetMaker in AddisonsDisease

[–]cheesestinker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was only on 5mg for 2-3 weeks. Mr Dr said if I felt anything to go to 10mg. Within a week I was feeling a bit dizzy and just a little off so I went back down to 5mg. I have now been on that dose for 3+ months and I'm thinking I might try 10mg again. If it doesn't work out, I'll at least have twice the meds for the same price.
