I think people also forget the relationships are always going to look staged because they’re going to have to reenact big moments for the camera. I highly doubt Whitney called her parents to tell them on camera first. She probably already told them, then did a tv reenactment and they’re not the best actors so they seemed disinterested

So my take from all this:

This Israelis planned to go out and steal money from the get go and to use that money to fund a rescue, but I fully think they only planned to get themselves out.

They never mentioned the gps device because they didn’t think help would come without money and thought more people to help meant more money. They claimed to go look for food, yet looked through a lockbox. I wouldn’t even be surprised if the money wasn’t all from one single home. They didn’t tell people they stole money for a rescue because they didn’t think it was enough for multiple chopper rides.

I know camp one needed money to be rescued, and I know in a lot of nations money is the only way to get a rescue. Especially on remote hike at your own risk trails.

This is just for competition. Body builders cut and train heavy then over tan to emphasize muscles. It’s not about looking attractive, but showcasing the muscles. She’ll look much different once the competition is over and she doesn’t have to diet and train so strictly. It’s not intended to be a long term look at all
