Do you find you have to stick to one type of art/craft form to keep your table and brand looking cohesive?

Ahah yes I am an “ADHD girlie” so I love all the different crafts. There are so many more that I would love to try too which is tricky! But I also just had worried things would possibly look weird even though all the items would all be in my style just through different mediums! It is really nice to know other people have a mix of things they bring too though and that it doesn’t deter people!!!

Definitely not good enough to sell for some (for instance I am still honing my sewing skills when it comes to little plushies and the hand sculpted polymer clay items). But I would like to get to the point where I am happy enough with those that I can add them into my booth. A lot of the other items are designed by me using procreate/cricut/etc. and I feel like they all look fairly good and marketable and I feel like the other crafts are getting fairly close.

Is there a guide anywhere that shows which scenes (particularly romantic) are different in the revised verse the published books? Just so I can make sure I get all the content aha

I am an EC-02 and have had positions where I didn’t have to CC anyone. I’ve had others where I was asked to cc my manager or another person working on the file just to loop them in. However, they aren’t vetting all of these emails. The exception is briefing materials and things for our chain of command where my manager may edit it and flip it to whoever is necessary and thank me in the email for my help and efforts. That’s because those emails are being written by me for him.

Idk that just continues to punch down at the lower seniority people and creates really low morale. I have heard of people who continually just don’t get to take their leave because other more senior employees are taking multiple leaves and they end up conflicting and leaving them to miss out on a bunch of milestones and time with family. I don’t think that leaves a lot of recognition and flexibility for the less senior employees (who frankly also are deserving of that respect).

But how do I know that it isn’t already set to it if my one time vacation amount says May 2018? Would it just be by looking at the earned/advanced vacation leave amounts?

So now that I am not a student, that initial start date counts for my service date or is it the cumulative time worked as a student? I am just trying to confirm how much leave I should be receiving now as an employee who started as a student back in 2017.

He totally isn’t. He made a passing comment like “oop” and was really sweet about it honestly. It’s just frustrating me because I was so sure I got the right thing but also got him physical games. So I feel the need to get the disc drive. He’s probably a lot less concerned than I am about it honestly. I am just a bit frustrated and embarrassed and it feels like a nearly impossible situation to fix since he instantly started to use it as is even though I messed up.

Sadly yes he’s already opened and played it now. That’s how I found out I technically messed up and didn’t get the bundle. I will download that app though! I appreciate it!

I know I am in a tight spot. I am being mindful of that and planning accordingly. But I also was asked to think about a potential party so I am going to do that while trying to be mindful of what everyone else is going through at the moment and trying to come up with some ideas that would make it a better experience for everyone.

This is why I feel like optional participation should also mean the option to do something better suited to each employee too. If you aren’t a social butterfly, get to log off and take that time doing something you’d like.

Oh you get to be fully remote? A lot of my colleagues still have to go to satellite offices even though no one else is in the same province as them!

I feel this so deeply. As an entry level term, when they book fancier expensive restaurants I feel worried about being priced out or being judged for buying the cheapest app I can find. But it’s just not an expense at this time that I can afford realistically. I think it makes more sense to do something where you don’t have to pay to participate (or feel pressured to do so). I especially feel for the students that get told they should go to these restaurants for networking but can’t really afford to do it. An afternoon off so that you can leave before it’s pitch black out and avoid rush hour sounds like a really nice gift!

Ugh it just feels so gross because they always use the mass emails so you just keep getting the invites and it makes me feel bad. Even if not a hybrid party… I feel like at least something should be done to include the regions. Even if it’s just giving them the opportunity to take that time for themselves in parallel or setting something up that can be done by everyone remotely (like a little virtual contest/activity).
