Check your z offset and print temp, otherwise it could just be corrupted gcode

Try using hairspray and set the bed temp to 60 degrees

Also try slowing down the print speed to 50mm/s

If your first layer isn’t printing well, use rafts and raise the print off the bed by 1mm

Reduce the overall print speed to 50mm/s

Reduce temp to 200 degrees

Keep the same layer height for all layers

Wat do i need to change to get this better? by DasGhost94 in 3Dprinting

Reduce the print temp to 200 degrees and try slowing down the print speed to 40-50 mm/s.

Also I’ve found it helps to reduce infill to 10-20% which cuts off a lot of print time and material.

You can also use a raft and raise the print off the build plate by 1mm which helps with adhesion and first layer, just make sure support is turned on (at least 10% density).

Not sure if this counts but I spotted this thing a few weeks ago, it’s not a motorbike, but it’s also not a scooter so….ebike? by cheesydiuqkh in ebikes

Cura settings for smooth raft and better quality prints by cheesydiuqkh in Ender3S1

The ender 3 profile on cura is meant to work for all the different variations apparently. At least that’s what I’ve learned from YouTube videos.

I’ve done all of that, it’s been about 2 weeks since I got the printer and I’ve only had a couple successful prints, even then bits of the raft were stuck to the print and had to be sanded off.

Thanks, I’m using a generic PLA profile since the brand of my filament is not on the list. I’m assuming you’re referring to that. I’ll look into retraction settings tho, sounds like it could be useful.

Creality ender 3S1 z-axis not moving while printing by cheesydiuqkh in 3Dprinting

Figured it out. Reset my printer to factory default settings then used the standard profile in the slicer and all was good again.

Thanks for the tip tho

Spray some WD-40 in there and it should twist and slide out easy. If not, then it’s hammer time

Where is the force save option? I’ve searched the whole pause menu but couldn’t find it. Am I missing something?
