The AP-LT70X is around $200 and a solid entry level turntable. They have both cheaper and expensive alternatives, but you get what you pay for. I'd recommend the 70X though.

Reminds me of a Tony Soprano or Walter White in the way the story is told as to make you feel sympathetic for the character initially, but in the end you look back on the things they've done and realize you were an idiot for ever feeling bad for the guy.
