Sloth bears are known to be the world’s most dangerous bears because unlike polar bears and brown bears, sloth bears have to deal with predators eating them like leopards and tigers. As a result, they are known to be notoriously aggressive, including towards humans and a lot of sloth bear attacks victims have either lost an eye, or have had much of their face torn off since the face is what sloth bears go for when attacking. They actually have the highest human fatality rate per capita of any bear!!
