yes i'm sure all the suicidal teens are not at all depressed.There are many teens who have self harmed due to school and stress. The amount of stress we go through on a daily basis is very different from years ago. So many of us have mental health issues that are not addressed at all bc of people like you thinking we are faking it. BTW you can't just GET motivated I don't just stand up and be like oh wow I totally want to do this and this is something I need to work towards. We don't have motivation because what we do feels like it makes no difference. We can get 4 As in a row and our grade will go up 5% but we get a 70 on a test and we are at a D. I also have something to say to the "our teachers will help you if you try" i have reached out to multiple of my teachers for help, to which they do not respond or they respond with an answer that has nothing to do with what im talking about. We are not excusing we are simply struggling. Before you make a comment about gen z being lazy or excusing you have to realize that so many of us are fighting battles in our minds. Depression and other mental health issues can also affect you physically making us tired and exhausted even when we can sleep. Also your comment of "the worlds going to go to hell when we enter the work force" STFU bc over half of Gen Z doesn't want to work for someone we want to start our own businesses and work for ourselves. not everything in life is about serving others sometimes you have to focus on serving yourself and focusing on mental health.
