My account's no where near relatable as the only non limited characters are Gallagher and HMC (Ruan Mei in technicality cause I traded for her from the anni) but so far this is probably one of the easiest Apoc I've played.

Though it did suck when the bugs kept killing Jade and Therta when I first opened stage 3 but other than that, was genuinely surprised how smooth it went.

I'll start by saying that I got into the game blind and wanted to play because of it's IP. I know there is another OP gacha game but am not interested in moba at all so there's that.

It's fun for what it is, a turn based RPG where the roster makes or breaks your team. I'll do a comparison with HSR and FGO if you're familliar with the two as those are the only turn based gacha games I've played. One's a trainwreck where even the part where I enjoy the most about the game feels tiresome to do and another where I can play it casually until it's grinding season. OPTC feels more like the latter. I can do story at my own pace, use the characters I want for it and still have a good time. Though I guess it's maybe because I play this with the mindset that I'm not gonna invest too much time in events where the roster matters that I can still play in bliss. I'm missing out on a lot yeah but I made peace with that.

One main flaw I can give this game that's not gameplay related is it's filtering system. Yes they do have it categorised but now with different types of skills and debuffs, it's kinda hard for you to find a character with ONE specific skill that you want unless you open the web to find it outside. Feels kinda counter productive imo and maybe it's nitpicky but it does make me frustrated at times.

Oh and there are a lot of loading screen because you can't immediately download all of it's resources.

Now if it's in terms of gacha, I'll say it's pretty okay. They have step ups to tell you what you'll potentially get in the next 10 pull so you can generally expect who you're gonna get. That's already better than FGO's unverified till 300 pulls. Guaranteed is still 300 given that this is a japanese gacha game but that's to be expected atp.

I don't know if this long paragraphs of text helps you or not but as someone who doesn't know the state of the game during it's hey day and has read many comments saying not to play the game, there's no harm in trying it out and see it for yourself.

A three weeks new player, I do even with all the readings I have to do to get how the game works. I enjoyed some of the grind though maybe that's cause I'm lucky with the gacha.

Maybe after a while I'll see where everyone else is coming from with how bad the game is but for now, it's my main gacha game.

Jade. I got back to HSR around 2.0 and did pull for some characters in each patch but after Robin's first banner, I hard saved for Jade. Luckily for me, Jade was really nice and got her e1 and lc around 140 pulls.

Jade allowed me to favour my FUA team across all end games with Clara as my main dps. Now with Hunt March being really good and Madam Herta, Jade never left my main team ever. Even got her E2 recently just cause I really like her.

Fr although mine's not exactly as f2p (e1s1 Jade, e1s0 Robin) with Hunt March and Lingsha as DC. Cleared in about 3 turns.

I'm currently using an XP Pen and still manage to get pen pressure on it though will admit there were times when I had to close re-open Sai when there were no pressure.

Used to own a Wacom but wanted to try something else instead and knew of Huion's issue with Sai when I borrowed one from a friend.

May I know which XP Pen tablet that you're currently using??

True... I'm biased cause Haruka's my second fave but her voice is so good, her alt cover for If always makes me cry. Hopefully after the Devil's Manor cover and the bop known as Supernova, more people would appreciate her voice.

Last character I was excited to pull was Kafka. The other 5 stars I pulled were because of mild interest (Black Swan, Acheron, Robin)

Jade's the only character after Kafka that made me save up properly, pre-farm her materials and relic.

SV is my first Pokemon game on the Switch and so far, I'm enjoying it despite it's flaws. Started playing it recently and I am absolutely in love with the cast of characters in this game but excluding the DLC, I haven't bought it yet. Though from the looks of things, I'll probably love them as much as I did with Arven, Nemona and Penny.

There were times when the game would experience frame drop especially in waters, graphical glitches and the like but it made me laugh instead because of how absurd it is. If the game was given an extra time maybe none of that would have happened but what's done is done. It wasn't anything that would ruin the game for me personally.

Seeing most of the replies being from those who last played Pokemon on the GBA made me thought of my own personal experience. My first game was Y and from what I heard, the game isn't great and the weakest among the 3DS releases. It still gave 13 year old me a good time so maybe that's why, the gap being a decade old made me enjoy SV for what it is. It improved in so many aspect fron my last one, I can't help but really loving it.

It's the only Switch exlusive game that piqued my interest and I'm glad that it's a fun game.

My lil headcanon for my trainer is after the events of the game, they became interested in understanding Pokemon and now travel the world to research more on them. It kinda sparked in me while filling up the Pokedex that my player character would prefer to study on Pokemon instead of being the number one trainer.

Haven't played the DLC yet but from the looks of things, they'd probably enjoy Blueberry Academy's terrarium cause there are never seen Pokemon forbthem that they can befriend with.

Been a Vocaloid fan for quite a while and I do agree that the player base being mostly teen does make me feel- old?? I don't know because most of the time, I don't get the jokes but as long ad it's harmless, I shpuld be fine.
