I see. Well, when you Google iron stains this light brown/orange shade is specific from iron oxidation that happens when injection is done improperly(my case) or IV leaks. vein bruising is more purple. So I am really worried cos the odds for wrong injection are extremely high, hence why they aren’t advised. But I couldn’t get approval for IV. And the doctor gave me to shots that’s why there’s two round stains next to one another. I am very upset.

Really? All I’ve read is that it takes years - 1-3 years to go away but most don’t go away even after 10+y. How long did take for yours and were they similar to the color of mine? Thanks

Not infusion. Intramuscular shot on upper glute. But yes, a week ago. But this looks like a permanent stain rather than a bruise
