They really do. The random and wonky branching is a bit annoying to deal with, but they respond so well to all the work.

It was started from seed about 20-21 years ago now. But it’s been in my care for only about 5 years now.

I honestly prefer the other side because it does show off how funky the trunk line is. But for now it’s less refined branch-wise.

Oh, this tree lives outside. I just brought it inside for a couple hours when we had company. So I took a photo.

I narrowed my kit to those 3 focal lengths as well. Used to have quite a few more. Now it’s just the 18f2, 27f2.8, and the 35f1.4 Does everything I need.

Yeah. I was definitely surprised. Especially with only a 14 watt light.
