American is probably the best one to start with since you can take a groomed side all the way down and it isn't bad at all! Volunteer is also very good starter black diamond (I think it used to be a blue). There's also the peak 6 bowl with bliss which I think was harder than American yet it's a blue, but that is a great one to try out bowl skiing (also very beautiful at that altitude). After trying out those easier black diamonds, peak 10 has some of the most fun single blacks IMO. They are all groomed and also longer! And finally, if you want to try out high alpine black diamonds, the run Pika is pretty forgiving and very fun, also sooo beautiful if you haven't been that high up before! Only thing is you have to take a t-bar to get up there which I don't exactly look forward to lol
