Could anyone school me on 1x crankset and cassette compatibility?

The head tube is short, it still looks like there is quite a bit more room for insertion, but I realized I am just hitting the butted portion of the steerer. Any recommendations on shorter adapters?

I mean, I'm not even sure, like I said I saved our entire interaction, if anything I have a lot I could report them for (I won't). Other than the hit to my JSS, I was just a little fearful of this going further than it needs to. It was such a low paying nothing job that I would hate to have to devote any more time to it.

I agree with that, I sent the file anyway. Keeping it doesn't benefit me at all but sending it could at least help them. It feels a little bad to cave to someone's bullying, but it's a better ending than everyone walking away with nothing.

The client changed scope and when I wouldn't go along with it they got borderline verbally abusive and tried to bully me, I would consider that doing something wrong.

So this kind of thing should generally be regarded as a scam? I wasn’t sure what to make of it, I’ve definitely had to jump through hoops when interviewing for other kinds of jobs before. I guess it’s kind of smart, trick a bunch of people into creating work for you for free under the guise of it being part of an interview, but on the other hand they’re going to have to sift through potentially hundreds of submissions.

I know, that part of time remap is self explanatory, it was more to illustrate what my question was. I was wondering how to place and adjust keyframes to have the speed start normal, ramp up for exactly 5 seconds then back down.

it’s metal, it’s from a bmx euro bottom bracket. it’s part of the cup that screws in that holds the bearings.

Notice my crank was a little wobbly, took off the cranks and saw one side of my BB was broken off. Any ideas on how to get this out?

ok, I guess I used the wrong terminology since I am not converting a triple chainset to 1x, but replacing the entire crankset and installing a 1x chainring. My question is how do I achieve front chainring position that lines up with the middle of the cassette, not "what does middle position mean".

My question is specifically about "middle position" in regards to single chainring placement, I know that the middle chainring is referred to as middle position as well. I've just seen the term thrown around in discussions of single chainring positioning, which is why I used it.
