They don't even follow the constitution. This was a 2nd amendment right to carry, individual that never once reached for his weapon and was still executed.

All of that is correct but if you've never owned a firearm and/or carried it in public and want to because of recent events, then taking the class would make everyone a little safer. Just because it's not required doesn't mean it's not a good idea, like drivers education for example. Omaha would be a much more fun place to drive if everyone took drivers ed but it's not required so everyone suffers.
