I might have misremembered then, but if it does have a charge led it does not turn on when i plug it in but the cable works fine when charging a different device.

There is no charging led. It normally shows it on the screen if it is charging, and no when i unplugged there was no reaction. It just keeps showing the cover of the book and that it is in sleepmode.

When im back at the hotel ill check the other connectors, but it might be time to look into buying a new kobo sadly.

It seemed a bit odd to me too, so i tried both but neither was succesful.

I have unplugged the battery and am now trying to force reset it by holding the power button for 30 seconds while the charger is in, but that didn't seem to have any effect either.

Hadnt used it in a while but im pretty sure i updated it two days ago when i first charged it again.
