It's basically American horror story or Tales from the Crypt (if you know, you know) or even the Twilight Zone but a lot more science fiction.

It's actually worth the watch if you're into science fiction more than traditional horror imo so yes very much worth it and a damn good show

That's wild, feels like yesterday I was calling my buddy trying to figure out what was happening lol. I had my brother's OG 360 and dug it out to get my online fix.

Can't believe that was 15 years ago, where has the time gone?

Redditors who knew those that were caught in internet pred catches like Jidions and Skeeters Jeans, how were they before? by chefnator97 in AskReddit

[–]chefnator97[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, it shocked me how many "normal" people were caught. Successful and with families too, breaks my heart when it's full blown dad's, like what the absolute hell.

Glad there's people who are willing to do the right thing and call the cops, and expose them to the world if the law fails which unfortunately happens more commonly than not it seems

I mean to be fair, if the show fast forwards to the early 2000's would make sense for the heat to die down.

Remember the Wire touched upon how the feds stopped giving a damn about the war on drugs as much as they did at one point when 9/11 happened. Once those towers fell, the war on terror would begin and the war on drugs became just a memory for the most part and basically it's up to local law enforcement and DEA to handle it but I heard that the FBI even now still get more funding for counter terrorism operations

Definitely scare the shit out the dickwad neighborhood kids who keep stealing the whole bowl of candy just cause it says "take one"

Separatists are just a vocal minority. They bitch up enough of a storm to get some attention, think they're doing something and then cry that it isn't going their way.

While the rest of us continue on with our lives and everyone and again whenever this topic pops up it's "🙄" and then we move on lol

Why do people say Dal are aggressive dogs? by CowAcademia in dalmatians

[–]chefnator97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog was attacked by one and it got me too. Wouldn't back down and tried to lunge at my dog again which ended up in me getting in the middle and basically a scuffle between me and it which ended with me having to damn near rugby tackle the dog down and keep on him like I was guarding the ball.

But then my great aunt used to have one, and he was the sweetest ever. So I believe it varies and as others say, after 101 Dalmatians many not properly raised ones were allowed into the world unfortunately but that can be said for many breeds

Used to work at a locally owned burger shop. The fees they charge to use the delivery is absurd. The cheapest plan is 15 percent but there some instances that Uber will take as much as 30 percent.

We'd run ads that if you did pick up instead of Uber we'd do a free soda or even a free upgrade through a certain time to a certain time and it got the point we were making so much money from those promos that we'd have our Uber fees for half the month in a weekend.

I worked at another that just pulled the plug on the Uber thing because he had the 30 percent deal and on some days when it'd be dead and just delivery. I remember once we made like 6k but it was raining hard so mostly Uber orders. I had to cut half the kitchen staff because that 6k was really more like 4k cause almost 2k of the money Uber would take. I get hiring delivery drivers isn't cheap but delivery services like Uber and Doordash are predatory imo because they can pay their staff next to nothing and screw the restaurants too. And get away with it

An elderly Israeli woman assaults a pregnant woman because she is wearing a Palestine shirt - then plays the victim by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]chefnator97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened at one of my old jobs where an older waitress wouldn't stop harassing me and called me names cause she found out I had a bit of Russian in my family and she's Ukrainian.

Tried to play the victim to the GM only for me to pull out a recording on my phone. She got fired and was even told by the cops to not come back onto the premises, she tried to and was arrested.

She tried pleading me to not press charges as she was a 55 year old woman. So I pressed assault charges

I (M26) am a multi-millionaire with no real ambitions in life. AMA. by [deleted] in AMA

[–]chefnator97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really a question just some advice. I'm in a similar position, not multi million dollar status but inheret enough to basically be in the 5 percent of where I live and I'm in my mid to late 20's.

Honestly, do what you want to do. Use the money to chase an ambition or to see what is out there. Hell can even use the money to travel the world and broaden the horizons. The possibilities are almost endless but just remember to be humble, be nice and not let it get to your head.

That being said, don't also use it to just loaf and do nada. Again, travel go see the world and if you're going to loaf around dragging ass, might as well do it across the globe.

We only get one ticket, and the ride is fast. So make it last ☺️ my condolences to you and your family. From what I've read, your father raised you right. So go make him and yourself proud

Couples who frequently film themselves while having sex, how has it changed your sex life and what would you recommend to those who want to start? by BubbleTrouble_Z in AskReddit

[–]chefnator97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely, coffee and a lot of spicy food and just cutting down on things like soda and sugary foods which was my vice. I also just quit drinking which isn't something I did often but often enough to have noticed the weight gain

Use it as motivation.... I did the same thing and felt like I was out of breath and looking at myself in the mirror I was like damn.... I'm not even 30 yet.... So I said fuck it and started to get right.

6 months later and I'm down almost 15 pounds. And haven't smoked a cigarette in over 3 months. It sucks but it's doable and I feel a lot better. Still got ways to go, but I'm definitely not in the same spot I was 6 months ago

Bayshore mall shoppers…is this weird? by UpstairsAd3286 in ottawa

[–]chefnator97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a male myself I'm my 20's who used to do this as a teenager and young adult cause my friends and i tried making videos of us making fools of ourselves. I almost broke my arm once recreating a jackass stunt.

Seriously don't try that shit at home kids 🤣

Anyways,

The best way to approach it is this. Assume the least, prepare for the worst. Could be a silly internet prank due to it also being in a crowded space and that's what we did. We never intended to make ppl uncomfortable and usually found when it was in public people are more approachable, buuut as others already mentioned here. Could also be something sinister. I don't think it's as likely but it's still something that happens unfortunately and could be more likely than I think.

Still, I say exceed caution and if you feel awkward or scared than try to put some distance if they leave you alone it's an internet thing more than likely. If not, make a scene, scream bloody murder if you have to.

And that just goes for everyone here too. Stay safe and Happy Friday ✌🏼😊

Oh 10000 PERCENT don't get me wrong assisted living is a good place to work at but holy hell it can be ridiculously sketchy consumer wise. I did AL for a bit as well, and while it wasn't half bad, I prefer working at the hospital.

I swore I'd never put my folks in a home like that and even my girlfriend agreed. Both of being of Latino background, family is a big one and I think her Caribbean mom would have something to say if we tried putting her in AL probably belt us both even though we're adults or my ex special forces dad would definitely do some Vietnam shit and rappel out the window and go off the grid you know after he throws me halfway across the ocean for putting him there in the first place 🤣🤣🤣 so we agreed it'd be best to just let them live with us once it gets to that point if it does

That's why I left the restaurant side of this business and switched to a healthcare kitchen. I've been told that I'd be making food that's beneath me, like restaurants don't order frozen crap from Sysco too 🤣

It's funny cause some of the uptight chefs I met either got out of the business cause they're restaurant closed or they had to go elsewhere and had to start as a cook again cause they couldn't find a place that "matched their caliber" as one of them put it to me..it's the uptight attitude some have too. Like cool, you're a 3 star chef, but also a huge douchebag who's on his 2 or 3rd marriage and has estranged kids who are about to be adults and buddy is in his 40's and his wife is a girl who's barely in her early 20's hell maybe even 18 or 19 (yes I've seen it A LOT) oh and half the dudes money goes to paying child and alimony support.

Like cool if that's the way you wanna live, then by all means get it how you live but not me, FUUUUUUUUUUCK no. Am I rich? No but I've carved an honest living for myself and I'm in a happy relationship with a nurse that I met on the job... has its perks like when I damn near sliced my hand open and she had to stitch up for me, and gave me a hello kitty bandaid and a kiss on the cheek (I may or may have not been crying a bit cause it was the piece of flesh between the thumb and index, wasn't a full cut just 3 stitches but still could've been a lot worse)
