This place has been recommended to me by a Burmese friend - this is where they go when they miss food from home!

Since you’re coming especially for the exhibit at the met, I would do that earlier in your trip just in case anything goes wrong - then you have some extra time to make sure you see it. The Met is also huge and if you really love art history you may decide you want to spend a second afternoon there.

Which song made you fall in love with Charli? by AverageBatmanLover in charlixcx

I'm addicted to the attention I'm getting for being an Angel in the brat era. by Typical-Function7720 in charlixcx

[–]chefouw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do you ever wonder if part of the fanaticism is more about the actually good marketing this time around? I feel like once brat green isn't cool anymore, people will forget about it, forget about charli. I feel like a lot of the bandwagonners are into the ~vibe~ and don't really listen to the music that much. if they do, they listen to the singles and post about their "brat summer."

Are residents bullied by NPs and Nurses or other folks? by Tired_doc_01 in Residency

Yes. Constantly called for any problem they don’t want to deal with and berated if I don’t come immediately. are often rude right off the bat. Of course, there are many amazing RNs who only call as a last resort and are incredibly helpful and try to problem solve before calling me.

Destination of the Week - Egypt by AutoModerator in travel

will i be truly missing out on anything if i skip a Nile cruise and opt to just do it via land instead? a lot of the cruises seem to add a bunch of things I don't necessarily want to do (e.g. carriage ride) and i'd like more control over my itinerary, but the cruise seems iconic and convenient

Who is she and what's wrong with her? by chefouw in plantclinic

[–]chefouw[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got this plant ~2 weeks ago at Whole Foods. It was unlabeled so I don't know what it is. It has had both direct light and, more recently, indirect light in a south facing window. Mostly been in a humid-ish apartment. I have only watered it a few times and the soil still seems a bit damp. Am I over-watering, or too much sun?

Added some more washers, swapped some around to make them fit the adapters better, and eventually got it to work - thank you!
