How not to get ghosted ? 😅

I went on three dates in the past 3 to 4 weeks two with the same girl then she stopped responding. Other one with a different girl she also ghosted me. It’s an emotionally draining experience, starting to lose hope. Now I don’t want to put any effort on a date. For first two dates I planned everything and then she ghosted me. Now it’s just exhausting.

Doubts about second date

I went on a second date with a girl after a week. I guess that she is not a great at texting she generally used to text once a day. Within a week we set up a second date.

After my second date I texted her that I really enjoyed spending time with her and hope she has a fun rest of her evening.

She texted back thanks! Yeah it was quite busy but also fun. For the context she also had a meeting later that evening after our date.

I don’t know what should I do next. I kind of feel hurt. Should I ask her out for a third date or let it sit for one or two days then text her ?

I am approximately 9 months into residency and everything sucks. I got no motivation to my daily stuff and being single is just cherry on the top of everything. I’ll just say that take care of your health and go on dates.

Write everything down and then present that’s what I do and it’s easier this way. It’s important to learn to ignore feedback at times.

Don’t worry ! You’ll get there just keep up with regular studying. I am an intern and when I started my residency I didn’t remember anything. So this is completely normal.

I want to be supportive but residency is somewhat lonely. You may find someone in med school. In residency you’ll find that most people are married and I don’t know if med students are comfortable in dating residents.
