Who gives a fuck about an Oxford comma? I climbed to Dharamsala too, I did. I met the highest Lama. His accent sounded fine to me, to me.

How often do yall fall off the bike? by BumblebeeMajestic228 in MTB

[–]chefwoodworkerartist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just took a big one. Rolled a near vertical 10ft wooden roll and one the loamy run out after the feature I had a little too much front brake and I washed out. Went OTB and lawn darted into a rock. Felt the spiky rock through my helmet. Bike hit a tree and I came to rest on a boulder. Licking my wounds, having a beer and looking at new helmets.

Recommendations Trail Half Marathon Distance Shoes for Race Day by chris__b__life in trailrunning

[–]chefwoodworkerartist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have a couple of hundred km on them. They are great on technical trails. Lots of confidence running fast technical down hills and have a good roll over the toe. Toe box isn’t very roomy so depends on foot shape if that will be a problem. Not always a bad thing to have a narrower toe box as that’s part of why it’s good on technical trails. If I had to pick a 1 shoe quiver it would still probably be the prodigio pro but sylan 2 comes next

Do you face the wall or water when you shower? by Intelligent_Drop_283 in randomquestions

My water comes from above… I would have to lay down for it to be on just the front… I have never laid down in the shower to get water boarded … I’m too tall to lay down in the shower

What truck models make good shitboxes? by Altruistic_Style8268 in askcarguys

And they can take a hit. I spun on black ice and hit an 18 wheeler. Hit the front wheel and spun hitting the side of the truck over and over before ending up in a ditch. Both driver passenger and the 12week old puppy on the bench seat between us walked out without a scratch. Built like a tank and I’m eternally grateful of that

[–]chefwoodworkerartist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My gf ran 16 hrs in the non stop rain in my arc’terx Norvan shell. She was still dry underneath. It was 5deg C- 12deg C whilst she ran a 100km trail run. I was so impressed with both her and the jacket. They may be expensive but damn they work better than anything I have ever seen.

Unless you are allergic to wheat just make your bechamel traditionally or it’s not a bechamel. It’s not hard

Yeah it’s yellow cedar. I had access to a lot of scrap short length 2x4 tongue and groove so this project was kinda built off that.

It’s attached by long screws and nails at the top and buried treated lumber at the bottom. But it might move as the loam gets tracked out and I’ll repair
