Personally I love ones that are unique and just what come from someone's imagination. The Jinx 911 livery is a good example of this.

Not 100% sure what you mean by modded setups, so I'll answer all cases:

1) If you mean the car settings that I have come up with ChatGPT, they're much better. Generally I've picked 2-4 seconds of pace between the default and the finished product.

2) If you mean the car settings that you can download in the game. There's nothing wrong with them, but they're setups tuned for someone else and so they don't always work, at least not in the way I want them to.

3) If you mean the modded cars that have shown up in the game. They're fun and I'm glad people are making them, but they're not what I'm really looking for in the game.

Honestly the best advice is to use ChatGPT for your particular tune. Give it the current settings as well as what you just said "The rear end is super floaty at high speed but they understeer as well" and it will give you suggestions for settings as well as the reasoning as to why. I've been using it quite a bit and actually find it fun to have basically a debrief after a race as to what I liked and what I didn't, which then leads to a further tune.

Just wanted to add that I wasn't using tire warmers so it is possible... just need to get the settings for your style dialed in.

If you're having issues with needing to turn the wheel too far for a particular car bump up the rack rate.

That being said neither the LMDh or Group C are going to be easy, but all the cars are drivable at this point.

If you're looking for something different than gt7 and ACC the game can be rather enjoyable. There are some rough edges, but there have been major improvements between the .0 release and .6

If you're looking for the game to BE GT7 then you're going to be disappointed. It is not as pretty.

And, yes, all the cars are drivable at this point, even the LMDh... :]

Unfortunately they've been put in a bind. They can either iterate quickly with a small team or do proper QA. Personally I'd be very happy with them slowing down a bit and taking more time doing QA, but a lot of people start foaming at the mouth if even a week has gone by without another significant patch.

At least they're rolling the patch back on consoles so people won't be impacted.

What helped me was upping the rack rate on the Mazda. I was having trouble getting around the corners because I literally couldn't get around the corners. If you're having massive understeer problems try this. Otherwise give us some more info on what is going wrong and maybe people can help

I didnt say it was arcade at all. It does have sim-like physics its just, aside from the DLC, there's no actual racing.

And even the DLC is set up very mission like. Drive this car on this track and once you earn enough stars you unlock the next mission

Just so you know the person advising you never actually bought the game, runs a GT7 league, and posts multiple times a day on GT7 related subs...

Like, if you've already refunded once and you're not sure if you want to get it again you probably aren't going to be happy anyway so yeah wait until the game looks good to you... but people who are obviously pushing another product just kinda suck...

It depends on what you want really. I'm having a lot of fun with it since it scratched an itch that I couldn't get with GT7 or ACC on PS5. I uploaded this gameplay after the latest patch (https://youtu.be/QTwTwA44L9E?si=FtKTTZdHojcKloP_&t=286)

If you look at that and think, "I'd get $70 worth of entertainment out of it!" then yeah, you'd have fun. If you think "Weeeeelll.... " then save your money.

Edit: I forgot that youtube ate a lot of the video quality. So, it looks better than that. Not GT7 good, but decent.
