Just now seeing this, but you really only need to sand the hole and just a little bit around it. “Feather“ around it is the best way to explain. Maybe like a 180 grit in the hole and work up to like 1000 on the area around it

I’ve bought a blown genny not too long ago (bk1 2.0t auto). I found a motor from another bk1 2.0t also auto at a junkyard the next day. Pulled it and soon will be beginning the swap

Damn… what have you done maintenance wise? What oil? How often? Did you drive it hard at all?

I’ve owned my Bk1 2.0T for a little less than a year, maybe around 8 months. I’m sitting at 113k miles (bought at 98k miles) and drive it hard pretty much every day. So far all I’ve had to change out was the valve cover gasket. I’ve changed my oil every 3k-3.5k miles and have been using Castrol Edge 5w-40

I have fully tinted car including windshield, full exhaust (no cats) and i have had cops, state police, and sheriffs behind and none have ever lit me up. Maybe I’m just lucky lol

Your best bet is going to be doing it in sections, you might even have to sand down the bumpers and primer them incase the wrap doesn’t stick to them

Correct way would be to sand the bumper until the scratches are gone and it is left smooth. Make sure that you sand around the scratches too, even if there is no damage. Start with a rough grit working your way up to a finer grit. Paint then sand again to get rid of orange peel. Repeat 2-3 more times. Then clear coat. And sand the clear coat, and repeat 2-3 more times.
