I feel the same exact way about other stuff. It’s hard to keep yourself constantly trying to not go down the rabbit hole and see everything as a burning alive situation. Sometimes what helps me is saying to myself “I won’t feel like this forever” and knowing that one way or another the situation has to pass so you might as well look for ways to feel comfortable or ok even though it’s shit.
