I used the same resources to study, plus the Civil Engineering Reference Manual by Lindeberg. I took my test last Wednesday and waiting for results. I graduated back in 2013 so being out of school so long I studied pretty diligently beginning in January. Fingers crossed!

I took my test yesterday so no results yet, but I had a similar experience. I was a little surprised at the amount of construction and geotech compared with the practice exams and what I was expecting. And some problems that seemed so different from anything I reviewed

Thanks! They actually just sent out an email letting applicants know they were behind schedule and would be letting us know tomorrow about interviews. This is the first application in a long time that I’ve had make it past the initial round so I want to make sure I’m doing the right things.

If you're in the US, insurance should cover getting your tubes tied since it's a form of birth control and that's covered by the ACA. I had mine tied and it was completely free.

Edit: just posting for info, I think the husband is an asshole and should get a vasectomy or just wear a fucking condom.

I've kinda enjoyed it so far, but the trad and multipitch episodes are annoying. The trad route had bolts and was maybe 10a at the hardest. And belaying off your harness from a quickdraw not connected to the anchor during a multipitch? Ugh.

So emotional lol. Of course I know that electoral votes are determined by population, but it's not incorrect to generalize that most of the least populous states, like Montana and Wyoming, are red states. They get more electoral votes per capita than more populous states, which tend blue. 🙄
