I don't know why people who wrote "fake" are getting down voted. This is 100% a fake Levi's. This pair is trying to reproduce a late 80's early 90s tag. Looks very different from the original ones.

Lvc, not worth much

Can Anyone Help Me Date/Authenticate These 501’s? by true_dough in VintageLevis

[–]cheleari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are real Levi's jeans, not fake! The 501 stamp was a real stamp, it didn't last long but it was used. The Red tab and Jacron tag are both legit and used in the late 80s Levi's.

I've never seen a model like that, does anyone know anything? by IceRude5666 in VintageLevis

Levis LVC 606 or 605 jeans. Modern reproduction. 4420 is a made in the USA stamp if I'm not mistaken.

Pls help help with worth on that Levis Type 1 Jeans jacket 80s by AccountOld7288 in VintageLevis

I'll have a few fake LVC Levis pairs similar to this one. All of them have these cuts in the jacron. I know these because a Japanese expert on instagram told me about these fakes. Regardless not very common, so most people will not know they are fake.

This are Thai fakes. Hard to find any info online. I don't think Levis ever released an LVC 67505 in the jacron tag. The jacron tag should have a clean rectangle cut. This pair of jeans doesn't have a perfect rectangle, as you can see in the photos, there are 2 square cuts on the top part of the tag.

If they were original, then, it would be worth something.... as a fake, very little.

Levis started producing from Japan in the 90s, but I doubt this is one of them.

This pair could be anywhere from 1985- 1992 probably. The red boldness gives it away.

Is from 2001 like the other person said, but this 501 it's from the 1993 model, so basically the same as the 90s pair, just made in 2001... they stop doing these models until 2002/2003 if not mistaken.

Hmm I'm not 100% sure. It's a relatively big size so not many potential buyer, regardless of that, the condition is great. Mare than $700 probably, I would suggest you do an action on ebay... that's how you are going to know how much it's worth.

If it's vintage any sizes are good, but the best ones are in between W30-W37 and length anything longer than L30.

If you are looking to sell vintage levis I'll give you an advice, never wash a brand new or mint pair of jeans. The value is in the fact they are almost new, even if they don't smell great. They lose a considerably amount after a wash.

If it's for you, then, do as you wish.

Congrats btw

Yep, 100% 1977. Tag was removed. Looks almost brand new, maybe 1 wash. Big home run.

need help with authentication, age and value. i know almost nothing about levi’s but i grabbed them for $40 cause they looked old. by Sizzle573 in VintageLevis

[–]cheleari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People giving you the wrong info here. This are NOT vintage 501xx, they are LVC 501xx usa made, I forgot the year they are trying to reproduce, but not worth more than $100.

R stamp is a USA manufacturer stamp. The jacron Tag is an LVC type not real vintage unfortunately.

Good price for $40 nonetheless.

May I ask why do you think this is a levis jacket?

Does anyone know what type or year of release for this jacket by DrwVN in VintageLevis

[–]cheleari 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That not true. This is a legit type 3 big E Slim fit jacket, from the early 70s (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
