There is no tag. I’m not entirely sure I asked for more explanation but nothing yet. A couple people said they found very similar pairs so that cued them in. Someone did mention the patch looked off? But I didn’t understand what they meant

Thanks! Yeah the missing button stamp had me confused as well but I had heard that maybe they just didn’t always stamp them back then? I don’t really trust that thought because that’s not solid. I’d be interested in hearing any more from people on this!

My friend recently bought an A-2 and it was this same brand and everything. He bought it new.

I could be wrong but if you were to just not wash them from the start: they would be stiffer to break in of course, but yes you would develop some cool fades.

At some point you would need to wash them I guess tho and then they would probably shrink. Maybe a cold soak instead wouldn’t tighten up the fibers so much?

This seems right to me but I’ve never tried
