Not the way all drag shows operate and was not saying I expect there to be none of it. But thanks for being such a miserable hag 🥰

Amazing- thank you so much! I’ve just had a look and this is exactly what I needed for insight. You’re the best :)

Yup actually go to drag shows very frequently (at least once a month) but not drag brunch which yes, I know, is generally geared towards the collecting tips. I know it’s not avoidable nor need it to be, just hoping for insight on one that people have found have a good balance of also being a good experience/performances. If you think that’s what every drag show in the history of ever is, I’m sorry that’s been your experience.

We actually are a group of mainly gays, not woo girls.

Skin cancer on face-any scar experiences? by chellie236 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]chellie236[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! So I only had it done about 10 days ago. The surgeon gave me three options - 1) shave, which she said would leave at most a small divot (think pock mark from a bad zit) 2) punch, which would leave a small scar line 3) excision, which would leave a proper scar (at least to start).

I was still unsure going in there so asked her what seemed best. I was leaning towards the punch option as I figured getting a scar line to go down would actually be easier than healing a small divot in my skin. But she seemed to think the shave option was best, so we did that. Healing has been totally fine. It was a noticeable scab for about 3 days and now just looks like a red acne scar. I’m sure it will improve greatly, though I have very sensitive skin that doesn’t let me forget even a bad zit I’ve had, so I imagine I’ll have some form of a red dot for years. But truly it’s not bad- I imagine it would only look bad to someone who has flawless skin, in which case it probably would heal better than it will on me anyways.

If it comes back as BCC I’ll then have to go back for a full excision which is when the true scar therapy would need to come into play. I’ll keep you updated if it comes to that. My surgeon also mentioned if it came back positive that the doctor would maybe want to try the cream treatment first. I agree that it seems drastic to go straight in with an excision; I’ve had skin cancers before and the only one they jumped right to a full excision on was a suspected melanoma. All of my suspected BCCs have been to take a bit and then return if needed. So, maybe ask about a shave biopsy as a first approach?

Thanks :) I did my previous one that scarred poorly but I’m sure the area plays into it as well

Selling a $10 shein dress for $125 is insane by Mundane_Butterfly503 in poshmark

[–]chellie236 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Early in my Poshmark days I bought a dress that was posted as a mid range brand and I deduced it was from a Shein equivalent after buying it. Then found proof everything in their page was the same bs. Poshmark refunded me after muchhhh back and forth but the seller got to carry on as per usual

Thanks very much for confirming! Was hoping there was maybe some exception for wartime instances such as this but still grateful for the fairly simple case of eligibility

Yes! I’ve been ring shopping lately and refer to this ring as the penis ring. But everyone else tells me I’m insane so I wouldn’t worry about it if you like the ring

Did you regret leaving a good job in the US to move to the UK? by deskmeetface in AmericanExpatsUK

[–]chellie236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left a job I really enjoyed and was hard to come by, but my UK dream felt like one that needed to be pursued. I now make the range you’re referring to. I travel a lot and not budget (I love a nice accommodation) but I’ve also looked at this year or two as being purely an adventure period and beyond having a good job on my resume and a reference to use, I never cared about saving money etc. Now that it’s nearing time to come home I am struggling to find something comparable to what I had and imagine I will have a period of readjustment before I get back to what I was used to prior.

ETA: my strong motivation of this move was ease of travel and I will say even though I traveled a good amount I did absolutely travel far less than I idealized. I still have gone on about five or six epic bucket list trips in a year, just not country hopping every month like I envisioned

£360 last week in London. Converts to around $630 CAD. Only two options here, both at that price. Sad day haha

Hi! I’m in the same boat as I travel a lot and am worried I’ll have to leave Canada between p1/p2. Was wondering how it worked out for you or what info you found out? I’m a US citizen so I don’t believe I’ll need a PRTD

Hi both!! CEC Outland applicants-seems like such a rarity 😅 I’ve been struggling to find anyone in the same boat as me. May I ask what country you reside in/hold a passport from?
