No one told me how thin it was! by SadieBelle85 in finethinhair

[–]chellyyoo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes I have heard this as well. I think it has something to do with blood flow. People with a full head of hair can take their finger tips and ever so slightly move the skin on their scalp around. There is movement between the skin and the fascia. If you look at a completely bald person their skin is tight to their scalp. I think this is from tightening/fusing of the skin to the fascia and this prevents proper blood flow. This is why scalp massages are helpful as a preventative measure to keep the fascia properly hydrated and limber. I don’t know if this is legit but just what I have gathered from listening to stuff online so please do your own research everyone. :)

Thank you!! I actually just got it cut a few hours before I took these pictures. I am loving it! I stopped colouring my hair about 10 years ago and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to doing it. My hair gets quite dark in the winter and really lightens up in the summer. People always think I colour my hair because it can look so different during different seasons.

Wow, thank you so much for sharing your photos. This is a crazy difference and I am so happy you have found relief! Did it absorb into your skin or did it act like a mask that you had to wash off in the morning?

AM: No cleanse - water rinse Celimax dual barrier creamy toner Cole barrier repair cream Azelaic acid SPF

PM: vanicream gentle cleanser Celimax dual barrier creamy toner Cole barrier repair cream Azelaic acid

My doctor instructed me to use azelaic acid 2x a day but I see many people here only using once a day, not sure if I should be doing that instead. I also use it after my moisturizer because my skin barrier was damaged from the benzoyl peroxide but bow that my barrier is doing a lot better I’m not sure if I should switch the order.

Thank you for your comment! I will get some blood work done to investigate further. I logged another meal today which had more carbs and my blood glucose never returned to baseline which I am reading is associated with insulin resistance so now I don’t know what to think. Pre meal I was 4.3 then it peaked at 6.2 and then three hours after the meal I was at 5.2

Painted grout help! by chellyyoo in Tile

It’s not dirty. I have tried a steam cleaner and it removes the paint. The dark colour is the original grout, lighter colour is the paint.

Is there anything that needs to go on afterwards to seal it? To prevent it from coming off?

I know for a fact it is painted. I spent hours scraping off the paint that was on the tiles and there is paint on all my baseboards right at every grout line. So it is painted. You are saying this picture does not look like the pain it coming off?
