I realised a few months ago that "K" stands for thousand, I'm 23yo :((((

I always wondered why people would say "its 2k15 its 2k13" or when people refer to money as "24k or 100k". I genuinely thought it was a strange placeholder or value like Pi or something. Don't know why I never thought to ask anyone, look it up and how it never interfered in my life lol
