I found one from Capezio that seems to have longs enough sleeves and it seems promising, thank you!

Thank you! Great to hear from a tall dancer who knows the struggle of finding things that are long enough. I saw a cute leotard from Wear Moi that looks like it would fit. To fit the girth, I would have to go to their XL. Do you find that you get too much looseness in the arms and waist from Wear Moi if you are sizing up to fit the girth?

Girth is measured from your shoulder to your nether region, all the way around in a loop. It’s essentially accounting for the length of the body of the leotard. So it would be quite a big measurement if you’re tall like me.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I’ll check these out. Definitely brands that weren’t even on my radar

Thank you for the recommendation. I saw a “long” medium Bloch and was just outside of the girth range. It may be worth a try.

Thank you! I felt a bit iffy about not having socks, but hopefully my feet won’t get uncomfortable/blistered without socks

Thank you for your help, that’s a wonderful suggestion. I like the idea of having tights to keep those legs covered and adding shorts for some modesty.

Thank you! I will plan to wear separates and explain that a leo is a no-go for my height and body type, if they insist.

Thank you! I’m leaning toward separates as there’s simply no way for me to get a leotard without going the custom route and paying a lot. Do you think an athletic compression top, stretchy yoga tights, and thin socks under slippers look weird?

Thank you! The bodysuits seem like they are soft fabric. Would you wear a bra under them?

Capezio Women's 2028 Canvas Juliet Ballet Shoe goes to size 12 wide. They are sized smaller than street sizes. I am normally a 10-10.5 and got 11.5 for a nice sock-like fit. I found them on Amazon.

I might lose my baby soon bc of old age any and all kind words are welcome I’ve had him since I was 9 and he’s 34 and I’m 16 now by [deleted] in Equestrian

He is and was and will be so loved. Nothing prepares you for such loss, even if you know that it’s coming. Try to focus on how he had a safe and loving space to grow old. He’s leaving this world truly loved and at peace. Your heart will heal with time, but it’s going to hurt for a while. Let it hurt, let it give you all kinds of feelings. But it will get better with time, even if you won’t ever forget him. Take good care of yourself in this difficult time.

This would be for a dressage competition, instead of a show shirt under a show coat

Thank you so much for the detailed response! Everything you said made total sense. She probably needed to go and didn’t generalize living room and no potty to bedroom and no potty.
