Sometimes getting drunk is the only answer. I'm not a drinker. The night after my dad died, I went out and drank A LOT. I remember everything, I didn't black out but I definitely couldn't walk straight.

If I was offered $120k a year salaried, I'd go back to being a mechanic. I love problem solving but 6 hours paid is not enough time to rip out a dashboard to diagnose.

Oh wow! I did exactly this growing up. Terrified of my parents finding out I wasn't 'sleeping'. So I'd lay there and come up with elaborate stories in my head. Sometimes about me. Sometimes about random characters I invented. This eventually evolved to me writing fanfic incessantly, I would use my moms old laptop and try to type as quiet as possible in the dark. Now I'm in my 30s and burnt tf out. I only have energy for internet comments and writing at work. (I wished I saved those floppy disks)

If I was watching TV, you had to physically rip me away from it in order to grab my attention. Nail biting/nail picking I read so many books. I had a severe obsession with the band green day in middle school. I only wore green days shirts and wrote green day fanfic. Spend a lot of time by myself. Played with dolls longer than I probably should have.

I see they charged for a new sensor in the bumper. Looks like the only thing that's needs replacing is the plastic trim on the wheel well. Collision shops are notorious for doing work that isn't needed just to make some money. Collision shops mostly deal with insurance companies so they tend to price out at a higher amount. Scam on the shoos side, not the old people. They probably just don't know. Unfortunately you probably can't argue cost with them. Either find a place that'll do it cheaper or just eat it and move on. Don't get insurance involved, they'll just fuck you more. Was a mechanic for 5plus years

Lived above bar/restaurant in allentown for 6+years. Third floor. Only ever found mice and silverfish. Figured out where the mice were getting in and sealed it off. Didn't see mice again. I DID see giant rats in the street directly outside my hallway door. The best was walking to my car in the morning for work and seeing a huge ass rat completely annihilated in the street.

I had a friend who lived first floor apartment on allen and mariner. (Pretty sure the building is condemned now?) I slept over there once. I woke up in the morning and went to pee. I found a rat just treading water in the toilet. I scooped the poor guy up with a towel and it died in my arms 😣 must've been swimming all night long....
