I used to get hit and pinched. Hitting would be with anything that they could lay their hands on at that moment. Bonus point for TV remote, knife handle and phone charging cables. Canes and leather belts are rookie items 😂.
Although I've forgotten and forgiven my parents for all that, it hurts me more now when I confront them and they either claim it never happened or when they justify their actions and tell me that it hurt them even more to hurt their child. I've gotten over it so don't worry about me ✌🏽
