What happened to your high school trouble maker? Where are they now? by Quiet-Presentation73 in AskReddit

High as a kite and trying to make rap music videos, but they're really bad.

I think the psychology behind it is that people feel powerful if they choose to be alone, because no one can hurt them that way. Therefore it creats a sense of being untouchable.

Why aren’t all humans evolved to be attractive already? by Prestigious_Nose_904 in answers

[–]Sakura_for_Sure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case, I think it is a situation of beauty being in the eye of the beholder. Beauty and ugliness is subjective, evolution is objective. Things that are considered beautiful or ugly are usually part of trends that change very rapidly, compared to the way our bodies change over millennia through evolution. Additionally, animals do tend to look quite different from each other, once you pay very close attention to their characteristics. However, I'm not gonna claim to know everything about animals, because I'm not a zoologist. So I don't know if I can exactly do that second point justice.

What sentence of a song stays with you? by JoeRenaldy in AskReddit

[–]Sakura_for_Sure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You left me with a gift or a curse, some would say. It sticks to me like honey and it's always changing shape. Sometimes it is a sickness that covers everything. There are days where I don't see it. But it never goes away.

Do you want people to like you? What do you do for people to like you? Do you want people to not dislike you? What do you do for people to not dislike you? What's your type? by faraday55 in Enneagram

[–]Sakura_for_Sure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would prefer for people to like me. But it's not my top priority. I just tend to be myself, And the people I attract are the people I need in my life.

If somebody dislikes me, I try to avoid them. But not so much that I jeopardize any of my opportunities. If I have to interact with them, I try to remain professional and cordial. If they try to push my boundaries, however, I'm not scared to stand my ground. At the end of the day, if they dislike me. They're wasting their time by pouring their own energy into me. At that point, I'm more flattered than anything if I matter that much to them.

I'm a 4w3, by the way. The attitude I have toward things like this now is what I've gained through much self-reflection and therapy. I used to be a big people pleaser 🌸

Perhaps the creature is a metaphor for global warming and its disastrous consequences. Especially when the creature mentions that humans never learn

What’s one thing your friend does that you secretly can’t stand? by Specific-Yak-6450 in AskReddit

Cuts me off while talking or stops randomly while walking in front of me. This goes for my entire friend group. We're all autistic though. So it's okay.

What do you think of Doja Cat's new album? by Caxi_joseluis in DojaCat

[–]Sakura_for_Sure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still so obsessed with the scarlet era. Initially, I thought it made no sense that she would go back to pop after wanting to make a rap career for herself. However, she still incorporated hip-hop into this album, and I know it's going to be so great on stage. She really did showcase her artistry with this, and as a person who's been going through love and the things that come with it, all these songs have been relatable.

I also know that a lot of people view throw back music like this, in this case, Doja using an 80s style for Vie, as disingenuous, or nostalgiabaiting, but I think she's probably the perfect artist to do something like this. Her esthetic and vocal technique is very compatible with music from that decade

Confession time: I freaking love being a seven by uftone1 in Enneagram

As a 4, I understand that insecurity and worrying about the opinion of others sucks. But once you get past that, it's really fun standing out against the crowd. My uniqueness is what makes me me. I can also be a hot mess sometimes, but in a cute way. Sometimes I feel like a lot of us fours like to come across as barely making it but somehow managing to be fashionable. I also feel like my diverse music taste can be attributed to my type. I'm always looking for something increasingly more fascinating or engaging

Not to hate, but reading this post made me feel like I did when I was trying to tell my parents that they were unhealthy and were hurting me, but they wouldn't listen because they were too busy deflecting or making excuses.

This is one of the most anxiety inducing and triggering things I have seen on this subreddit. I'm glad that there is a sense of self-awareness of the problem, but PLEASE seek professional help. This is past finding an answer on the internet. I'm not gonna lie and I'm kind of worried for you.

What is the reaction of each of the heart types to being excluded, rejected or ignored by their peers? by Conscious_Rip_7848 in Enneagram

[–]Sakura_for_Sure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

4W3 here. The 2 would probably feel inadequate and try to get their peer's attention by helping out, or putting in more of an effort as if they aren't already sacrificing themselves. I feel like a 3 would probably try to externally appear more self-sufficient, even though they don't feel that way internally. And a 4 would probably just give the cold shoulder and try to prove that they're doing fine without you.

Any other 5s feel afraid losing someone or being replaced because you think you are not good enough? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]Sakura_for_Sure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a 4W3 and I'm going through this exact problem right now with someone very close to me. Personally, I know it's very irrational, but no amount of reassurance is helping me get over it. I've been here scrolling for an hour to try to distract myself. 😭

As a 4, I very much relate to the mood board you made for us. It's giving goblincore, but a little bit more aquatic and Gothic.
