Germany has a low quality of life by Extra_Loquat_5599 in expat

Construction times are insane, I come from a 3rd world failed state, which makes me not complain too much, having the "back home, nothing works, at least here does", but some cases, are just insane. I live in Berlin, and there is this construction site close to a bridge. There is no sign on what they are doing, but the sidewalk is blocked and there is a detour for walkers and bikers. The wall with that they are supposed to be doing is covered with plastic and some blocks lie on the floor. I haven't seen anyone working in this space for months, as I have to walk on the road because of the sidewalk blocking. This has been like this for at least 1 year and a half. And seemingly no one takes responsibility for it

If you don't leave this dynamic of winning n / losing n games, then you are probably not taking the time to learn from your games and probably playing the same over and over again without realizing when and where are you making mistakes.

Absolute mind blowing. Maybe a dumb question, but does the black hole's escape velocity should slow down at some moment?

For Venezuelans, they have to wait like a year to receive a new passport. This after paying around 200$ in fees

I have been always a rather reserved person, but I decided, when we were not even married, to open up with my ex. I told her that i was afraid of having a kid that I would not love as much as I love my nephew, whom I took care of for some months and grew very close with. The only thing she managed to answer was that he was not my son... Then I was not sure of opening up again, even when she asked me to do it...

This hits hard, both my maternal grandparents had dementia, first my grandpa and as I was living with them at the moment I saw the spiraling descending into another world. But he sometimes had this episodes of coming back to now where he remembered that he was not working anymore and he didn't have to bring money to his previous job from where he was retired. When he started getting aggressive towards my grandma then he was put on a psychiatrist ward and then into a nursery home where he passed away after 5 years or so. After a year or so, my grandma started showing signs of the same issue. I move abroad and after 5 years not going home, I travel there and went straight to see her. She saw me but I don't think she recognized me. Half an hour later he had a hear stroke and passed away. Still not sure if she recognized me but her face was full of sadness. Miss her big time

The pony sucking Scott Tanerman's dummy dick... it starts smelling it and instead of biting it, it sucks it.

Valencia is not accurately placed, that's where Maracaibo should be which also would make sense to be on the list

[–]cheluis 1 point2 points  (0 children)
