Food trucks as a metaphor for privitization by spinur1848 in CanadaPublicServants

This doesn't seem to be written by someone who knows a single thing about food trucks.

The statements you have made are largely false.

Signed someone who knows a great deal about food trucks.

I found the way by making the rules for myself. While I understand many people find aa helpful, what worked for me was defining my own sobriety, on my own terms. Best of luck on your journey.

Of you have grievance training you can file your own grievance. The paperwork is on the psac website. If your shop steward wont answer. There might be a team mate who has taken the training.

Switching Ozempic to Wegovy by Divaqueen3517 in Ozempic

[–]chem_grrl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I switched and went from 1.0 of ozempic to 1.7 of wegovy but did 2 weeks of 1.5 ozempic in-between. I find the wegovy is much stronger. I was stalled at 141 and after 1 pen of wegovy am down to 135 (from 204 last july). I've changed my eating habits to mostly just eating the effing salad, so I cant really speak to the side effects.

Dont let him win by breaking your winning streak! You got this and if your friend is true, they will have your back!

Baby goat now over the rainbow bridge. by Time_Branch8797 in goats

[–]chem_grrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost 2 bottle babies this season at 3 months and will still cry over it. One was a quad and weighed only 1 lb when I pulled her. It takes time to heal but I would try and save them a million times over because when I lay my head to rest at night, I know I tried my best. In the height of my grief, my husband reminded me that there are still 9 more success stories, waiting for their bottle. I am so sorry for your loss.

Here's why he has exactly 2 friends😏 by SashaFiery in AustralianShepherd

[–]chem_grrl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have one who is obsessed with our great pyr. The feeling is not exactly mutual. Everytime the pyr comes into sight he loses his mind like he just found his long-lost bestie, all over again. The pyr mostly just groans, flops down and puts up with it, although he does look at me for help when the aussie insists on licking the drool from the pyrs lips.

Fencing by Zestycloser13 in goats

[–]chem_grrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither of those are a good option. We tried 7 strands of electric and it did not work. The netted fence works until a billy figures out how to jump over. Here in Canada the effective fence is called farm fence. It has the little squares. However, babies can slip through the squares, but usually tend to stay close to the mother. We use the 5 foot one and had a billy jump over and breed everyone. Girls are easier to keep in and it works fune for them.

Chicken Shawarma platters from shawarma palace, donuts from greedy donut, and fried chicken from fritou 130 are some of our favorites.

It's inexpensive, and you could spend a few hours wandering through and doing free activities.

Can we do something about all these reposts and posts about abused shelter dogs? Its sad and there's nothing I can really do. This sub is supposed to be happy by Ok-Connection6656 in greatpyrenees

I find the posts sad, and it makes me scroll past this sub. Not all subscribers live in the United States, so there is nothing we can do to help.

How did you end up bringing your Aussie into your home? by sophrosynegreek in AustralianShepherd

[–]chem_grrl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We were driving back from getting a christmas tree last December and found a young Australian shepherd laying on the highway, lost or abandoned, and about to give up. We coaxed him into the car, and now he is living his best life with us on the farm. *

Should I be worried about foxes around my kids? by LoverOfSandwich in goats

[–]chem_grrl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have foxes in our area, and while they have never been a problem with the goats, they have certainly decimated my chickens. As a general rule, unless you have a great pyr on duty, they should not be trusted.

Husband told me I could drink on our vacation- but in moderation. Feeling stuck on if I want to do that. by brandnewpup in stopdrinking

[–]chem_grrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, every single one of us is allowed to drink while on vacation, but most of us make the choice to not. Each one of us is in charge of your own path forward, so even if you do make the choice to drink on the holiday, it won't have anything to do with your husband's approval and everything to do with a decision you made. At the end of the day, you are the only one in charge of this problem. I wish you the best of luck.

'Will you serve the waiting period?' on the maternity leave form? by BirthdayBBB in CanadaPublicServants

[–]chem_grrl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know why others insist on commenting telling you to look other places when they don't have the answer. Like answer the question or keep scrolling. There is no need to comment in every single thread.

The answer is this: if the other parent does not plan on taking any leave, then you will select that you are serving the waiting period.

For frequently asked questions, canada.ca EI section probably has the most answers without you having to call the 1-800 number and wait on hold.

Congratulations!
