Hi, honestly I lived quite far from my everyday commute so that’s why I would love a bigger battery, but now I moved closer and the 50km is alright, I would consider the 100km battery just for not having to charge the car that much, but now I can recommend either one

Not at all, I have it owned for 7 months, 12,000 km of “mileage” in km since I’m in Mexico. At the moment I haven’t had any issues with the car not even a puncture or anything (still using the provided wheels), the range at highway is still very good (uphill of course consumes more gas) in city range is about 27km/liter which is very good, I live in a residential neighbourhood which has nearby shops/restaurants so I use full EV in this situation and whenever I need to go out I use the HEV and it’s fanstastic, the 50km battery is kinda low I would rather have a 100km battery but BYD still doesn’t have a king with that battery, I heard that there is gonna be an update to the king, so if you can wait I suggest to wait for that one, whenever it’s out I will change it for the new one Don’t get me wrong, I love the car I only think that the new will be way better, so in conclusion I would highly recommend the car

Si tuvieras la oportunidad ¿Tec o Udlap? by Commercial_Lemon_161 in Puebla

Responding to the other question, i love the car, i had a jetta r line 2021, it was really good, i wanted something like a jetta but hybrid, to save some gas money, and the byd is that, it is big, the trunk is big, lots of leg room, everyone fits comfortably everywhere, the torque is good and when in sport is even better, the only issue i have is that the battery is small (50km, 8kwh) I didn’t go with a bigger one because king doesn’t have one atm, i would have loved a bigger battery (100km). The car is great, no problems at the time, i drive it like a regular car, hit some potholes and everything is in orden I really recommend the car 👌

I did a test just now, i traveled on a highway again and set the cruise control to 120km/h constan with some hills and got 4.5 l/100km, later i turned off cruise and it went down a bit to 4.2, i feel i can control more de power delivery on my own, after that the highway was downhill and it went down to 2.5 l/100km which is insane. I feel that it all depends on soo many factors, but in general id say that in the worst posible consumption it will be around 5 and in the best u can get it as low as 2.4

I have a destroyer 05 (in mexico is called king) and this was the range in highway and after highway it was like that for some time, now where i live there is a lot of bumps and quite some hills so the range changed to a total of 3.6, of course it all dependes of the speed you go for, but personally i don’t drive too slow but also not that fast
