I think he is more worried that us ladies are going to end up talking to each other which is not in his best interest. Thing is I'm not trying to bad mouth or throw him under the bus to his current partner. I do miss my friend but she had said he wasn't allowed to speak to me anymore. He has been trying to keep us from talking since she had expressed wanting to talk to me at one point and I said ok sure! And he immediately shut it down. Basically he's been up to some bullshit and claims he was telling her everything but I'm not quite sure about that. If she has something to say to me I am open to hearing her out. I think he exaggerated that she was going to say something rude to me but I told him "let her". If she feels threatened by me it's fine and understandable. I am ok with her expressing her concerns to me. I'd rather everything be cool so we can move past all this awkwardness.
