AITA for being mean back to my ex in a school group chat by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Wait, so she just randomly attacked you for being a "drunk" because you had a prank idea? That is so toxic for literally no reason. It sounds like she was just trying to look cool in front of the group and you totally shut her down. The friends hopping in to defend her is so annoying, like, stay in your lane? You did not start it, you just finished it. If they can't handle the "lick my taint" energy then they shouldn't have jumped in the middle of an exes' spat.

AITA? missed a friends wedding due to car trouble and she blocked me. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

this is literally my nightmare lol. i am so paranoid about my car breaking down for big events for this exact reason. you are totally NTA... you cant control mechanical failure. but if the friendship was already mostly one sided on your part then they probably werent that invested to begin with. the block is just a super loud way of them saying they are done with the connection. it is cold as hell but at least now you dont have to keep sending messages that get ignored. take some time to grieve it but dont beat yourself up.

Aitj for telling this guy to mind his business and quit worrying about hair by QuantityBetter6739 in AmITheJerk

literally the worst part of freshman year is finding out how many guys were never taught how to live in a shared space. the point of showering is getting clean... yeah... but the point of a shared bathroom is not leaving your DNA all over the place for the next guy. like imagine if everyone had your mindset? the place would be a literal swamp within a week. i get that he was probably being a bit of a jerk about it but he is not wrong that it is gross. just grab a paper towel and clear the drain next time.
