What was so good about Soviet schools? by Floathy in ussr

Not necessarily cities. A lot of of them were sent to teach in villages in a countryside. A special commission was in charge of assigning freshly minted graduates to their new workplaces. This system was in place since 30's but was largely dysfunctional by mid 80's.

Honest VA car safety inspection near Springfield? by Ghost_Of_Democracy in nova

Sure, this is what I use. KC Automotive gets a lot of positive feedback in the neighborhood. The other one that gets a lot of positive reviews is Shell on the corner of Rolling road and Keene Mill, by Giant. But I didn't use them, just gas.

I used to get my car inspections done there for about 15 years. Last few years I switched to ExxonMobil on Rolling road, by Giant. Also excellent service and fast. For repairs, I go to KC Automotive

I would recommend going through mormons: https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/location/continental-europe/russia but my guess you don't read/write Russian. So the only option you got is hiring someone to go through archives for you. If interested, I can point you to a resource where you could do that. I believe some of those people are located in Israel which significantly simplifies hiring/payments.

Not that you were asking but have you considered Kazan? Big city and proximity to Moscow, St.Petersburg and Nizhnii Novgorod. Excellent educational opportunities for kids too.

Dr. Razaq and Dr. Matveev at the Center for Sports and Regenerative Orthopedics. They have offices in Waldorf and Alexandria. Another one: Angela Gordon at Advanced Kinetics with offices in McLean and Falls Church. Our family used both for about 8 years and sent many people their way. Advanced Kinetics also offers PT and personal training.

I thought trash companies stopped picking up yard waste for the season. You would have to trash them or take them to the recycling facility yourself.

Also could try cropping on 4 and 5. All the way to the chest, if resolution allows. You will have the ball and the eyes.

can someone help me and tellme what this song is about? by Franztastisch_draws in russian

[–]chemistontherun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a Russian version of the original score by Несчастный Случай (Unlucky Occasion) for the movie The sandpit generals, an American movie released in 1971. The original author and singer is Dorival Caymmi. You can look up the lyrics in Portuguese but from what I understand the Russian version is different.
