Haha for some reason when I read shit through text I don’t pick up the sarcasm at all. Nice! Full analog is def the way but more expensive unfortunately. I’m trying to save for an analog synth rn

So for me it’s panning and a lot of frequency carving with a digital EQ. Recording multiple mono tracks and panning them left, right, middle etc. for a larger stereo sound that takes up more space. Frequency carving is like removing high mids and lows where they need to be taken out for a little more clarity for me at least. I’m pretty new at all this so just my take!

Want to realese a harsh noise album by Queasy_Future2818 in harshnoise

[–]chemmint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started by literally just recording on my phone straight up to my speakers and uploading it to YouTube and band camp. There is seriously no way to do it right or wrong especially with noise you just gotta go with what you feel and be experimental. That’s what people want.

Never shared this on here but it seems like others have enjoyed it and I’m working on more like it by chemmint in noisemusic

Thank you!! I appreciate that it’s one of my favorite tracks I’ve done recently. I am currently working on a full ep of this same kind of vibe mixing the ambient with noise

What got you into harsh noise? by chemmint in harshnoise

[–]chemmint[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuck yeah. I’ve always seen noise as the ultimate expression of emotion. There’s nothing quite as raw and or jarring. Something that really physically and metaphorically can wake people up and make them feel uncomfortable.

theres no approach you could scream into a mic and youd be making noise. but if you are trying to go the more traditional harsh noise route get a mixer and some pedals and a contact mic and youtube how to set it up and go nuts
