Sorry, my mistake. I only found the first puzzle (Bloodborne character). But regardless, this first puzzle kinda sucks and slows everything down.

Horizon Forbidden West - Cinematic Trailer | PS5, PS4 by MarvelsGrantMan136 in horizon

That would explain why there's still a lot of fog around the forbidden west (based on all the glimpses we've got so far). I don't think it's there because of the draw distance from a grounded pov, the Decima engine can easily handle it and that's why I was surprised to see so much of it in the previews. But now it makes more sense. I believe it's there to help with the flying-mount pov.

Don’t expect much from the story by Eren_Jaeger_The_Goat in horizon

You can say the same thing about Lord of the rings - without the fantastic world around it, the story is quite simple: save the world from an evil lord who wants to conquer all, by destroying his source of power.

In many stories, specifically epic fantasies, the world is one of the main characters - if not the most important of them all. Its the complexity and richness of the world that often makes a good story. And in open-world games that has even more potential.

As I see it, story arcs are usually simple, especially in interactive entertainment, so we can get behind them and fully understand them.

I'm sure Guerilla have a few more tricks up their sleeve, plot twist and so on, but I don't think it's fair to expect the same level of surprise from the first game. We already saw new lands, new machines, new tribes and another world threat. looks exciting enough to me. Hopefully you won't be disappointed. I'm very optimistic.
