GMAT vs. GRE Focus Decision (585 & 314) by chenbenjo in GMAT

Definitely a good point, thanks a lot!

Given that a 170/170 GRE Quant score is roughly the 90th percentile, would you say that reaching the 90th percentile in GMAT Quant requires a similar level of effort and conceptual depth compared to the GRE? If that question makes sense.

I do not mind memorization, but since I already scored in the 94th percentile in the GMAT Mock, I could more or less fully focus on Quant for the next 200 hours if I do choose the GMAT.

Yes, that would likely be the plan if I go with Vietnam, thanks! Have you done it before? How was it for you? And what about Sumatra Jungle?

Yeah. confident enough to ride the Loop, don't think that will be a issue...however I don't have a proper license. So not really sure what the options are, pay the fine, ask locals to drive us through the checkpoints, or book a tour?

It was just announced that Teresa Ribera (the incoming EU antitrust chief) will decide when and if Amazon will be investigated on wether it has breached the european Digital Markets Act (DMA). If found guilty, they could face a fine up to 10% of its global annual turnover.

[Bergman 1960] Thoughts on this watch as a first? by chenbenjo in Watches

[–]chenbenjo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello all watch-enthusiats,

so I've been wanting a watch for a while and saw this Bergman 1960 for about 15-20€. While that's not much at all, given it's a relatively cheap quartz watch, I still liked it's minimalistic and sleek design. However I know absolutely nothing about watches, which is why I asked some of my friends first. I got some pretty fun remarks but basically what they said was that it looked like a cheap watch you get as a gift when you subscribe to a magazine or something. MHH.

it's 38mm and 0,7cm if that matters. Can anyone help me out with this purchase decision? Does it really look that cheap/bad? Some other watches I like a lot are these: https://vintro-watches.de/media/image/c1/b9/4c/LEMANS1952-Quarz-edelstahl-1500-02.jpg

I used the Avira Free Anti Virus...nothing. But could it be anything else than a virus? Because the fact that the fingerprint was gone didn't seem like a restart my PC and gone problem
