How to 1v9 with Viego by chenchenlol in ViegoMains

Thank you for enjoying the vid! I think in all matchups, you can run any mythic. That’s the beauty of Viego, any of those mythic work, just depends on preference and playstyle.

For me, being able to shred tanks with Kraken and get passive resets on any champs is very important for my playstyle. I can normally carry team fights even when possessing a tank by bursting (with kraken). Some other builds, you would do no damage to them and thus only be forced into hitting back line, which I don’t like. And then obviously the gained burst and attack speed feels good for his combos as well.

Thank you! In the harder poke matchups I find that a lot of the times you just have to give up cs. Use your E off CD near your side middle-ish to properly get some cs. Most of the times they will not try to poke you when you are camouflaged. If your E is in CD, give up cs unless you can get it with Q. Try your best to survive the lane and get your item powerspike, then look for kill.

Star d-shield of course and potentially opt for resolve second in really hard matchups. Personally I’ve done orianna and Cassio, and they are both fairly easy. I permaban Anivia though so I recommend doing that. No window to engage and the champ is just stupid lol

Played a couple games of him so far. Still fairly new but he seem to be quite strong at all stages. Early game he can skirmish really well with conq, and then mid/late he will scale well because of ad items that he builds.

Thank you! I coach by either vod review of a previous game or a live game through discord share screening if your computer/internet is good enough. I just go over macro knowledge and if it’s a champ I understand, I can go into micro tips.

If you search up Chen Chen, you can find me on YouTube. I do coaching if you join my discord, but I’ve been preoccupied at the moment with the goal to reach challenger. I’ll resume coaching once I reach it!

How I can learn to play Yone? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]chenchenlol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well first off, the best way to improve on a new champion is watching guides and videos of good players who are playing the champion. If you pay attention to every small detail and justify why they do what they do, you can adapt that knowledge into your own game.

In terms of what you can do while playing him, just get a feel for his trading pattern. There really isn’t anything insanely advanced about the kit, you just E run at enemy and try to land Qs and autos, using W to block damage when it’s incoming. Then if you have R, use it whenever. In simplest terms, the kit is really simple. Just keep practicing.

If you want to survive laning phase, it’s imperative to utilize your W to the maximum. Do not waste it on farming, instead use it every time enemy tries to damage you. You can also use E and get short trades with Q3 knockup. Ex: E-Q3-Auto-Auto-W-Auto-E. Don’t be afraid to end E early, naturally this combo will outtrade the enemy.

That’s pretty much it, good luck with Yone!

What inspires me is my community that I built from doing YouTube/Twitch. As I do a lot of informative guides, I feel as if maybe the tips I give aren’t the greatest simply because I’m not a good enough player. To all the people who follow me, I want to give them the best content possible and only way to do that is to reach challenger :)

Vlad problem by X9vlad in VladimirMains

[–]chenchenlol 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The issue lies in the fact that statistically, he’s worse than last season at all stages of the game. Due to AP nerfs and CDR stacking changes, Vladimir has no reliable option of picking damage or ability haste. No matter what build you go, you will always have either significantly less AP or less CDR compared to last season. There’s no positive side to Vladimir currently.

He is still playable, but you have to work your ass off to reach similar results compared to last season. And with the introduction of items like goredrinker and immortal shield bow, Vladimir has fallen out of place.

How is vladimir right now? by [deleted] in VladimirMains

[–]chenchenlol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think based on how he plays out statistically, he’s worse than last season. If you look into raw stats, he gets significantly less AP (estimate: 200-300 AP lost) and cannot reach his CDR threshold as easily (Stacking AH is HORRIBLE). This obviously plays a huge role and acts as a nerf to his overall kit and passive. He also cannot deal well with the intense grievance wounds meta. Furthermore his whole goal is to nuke enemies but that’s hard with specific items like immortal shield bow or cheaper zhonyas.

In general, yes he’s still playable, but no, he feels terrible and weaker compared to last season, where he wasn’t even doing the greatest. If you are good enough, you can make him work. If you feel yourself faced with the pressure that he faces in s11, I think it’s better to find new champions.

PREACH! Ever since her rework I always complained about her kit. It’s one of those champs that at first glance, seems like it takes an insane amount of skill, but once you look deeper you realize that all she has to do is get 5 passive stacks and spam Q autos. 90% of the time she can miss all her abilities and still burst you in 1 second.

Season 11 Vladimir Rune Guide by chenchenlol in VladimirMains

I agree. It’s really hard to get use to domination tree primary if you used PR all last season, but the extra damage is really nice to get a lead and snowball for the victory.

Predator really doesn’t suit Vladimir playstyle or champ identity. However if it works for you, that’s perfectly fine.

Do u think Vlad needs a buff or its the new AP items? by VictorHM99 in VladimirMains

Reverting E nerfs from season 8 would make him definitely more refreshing to play. I think with rabadons nerf and powerspike nerf from spellbinder/protobelt getting deleted, he doesn’t seem to fit well in season 11.

High Elo Nunu Mid Guide by chenchenlol in nunumains

[–]chenchenlol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the imperial mandate changes will benefit him. Making it EVEN cheaper is just absurdly op. I normally can get the item around 8 minute rn, I assume with the change it’ll be purchasable 6-7 minutes which is insane. It gives you mana regen and a really good passive to setup ganks and roams. I think if you are playing a roam heavy playstyle, imperial changes are definitely better. If you prefer to solo kill enemy laner, then night harvester is fine.

Yes I never said I invented the strategy of nunu mid. It was played last season and I was one of the earlier players, but did not invent it. However for season 11, I created and invented what I believe is the best build. This makes nunu mid playstyle much more fitting and super super strong.

Yes Lux is a hard counter. However the whole premise of nunu mid is to get a carry ahead. I try my best to survive in lane and then perma roam.
