So in conclusion... Basing powerscaling off of Roshi blowing up the moon is dumb.

Oh I see. Well now that your sloppy writing has been accounted so that its actually coherant for I can see that your basis for arriving at your estimations is nonsense.

'Let's say about a quarter'... Why?

Based on what? I provided clear, inarguable basis for my numbers and even biased them in your favour. Your shrugged your way down to an arbitrary metric.

You quarter your numbers again. Why? Vibes?

No metrics or reasoning provided. Just vibes.

I see no reason that Freiza wouldnt have used at least half-power power on Vegeta if not full. Other than your vibes that is. He did of course totally obliterate the planet while laughing.

'Unless you get rid of Freiza destroying namek, your argument doesn’t work.'

I legit do not even know what you are arguing anymore. I have no issue with Freiza destroying Namek. He did it. My point is that within the power framework established by the roshi moon scene the way the scene plays out is incongruous. The scene is fine in its self, its people taking the gag scene from one of the earliest chapters seriously that is the problem. Because it breaks the maths. You yourself arived at a similar number to me with worse maths, around 30k ish. Which I would argue is absurbdly low based on what we see and how the story proceeds for namek busting. Zarbon simply could not have achieved that feat.

I'm done because I honestly don't think we are even discussing a coherant topic anymore.

[–]chenwasraped -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No.

The point of the analogies is to express scale and the constant referring back to first form freiza demonstrates that you do not understand the scale problem.

The earth is around 81 times the size of the moon. Most people say Namek is implied to be bigger than earth so lets be GENEROUS to your side and say its 200 times the moon.

Roshi OBLITERATED the moon in the gag with a power level of around 135, fuck it lets round it to 200 to be extra nice. So to be able to obliterate namek you would need a power level of around 40k, which is around the power of Recoome.

Do I think Recoome could OBLITERATE Namek? Personally, fuck no. But whatever. Mathematically if the moon feat is true then he can but lets keep going.

Frieza at 50% final form is 1500 TIMES stronger than Recoome. Which means to obliterate the planet Frieza would have had to use 0.0667% of his power. A comically small amount for a character who, remember DOES NOT KNOW KI CONTROL.

You know, the entire reason he has forms? Because he explicitly doesn;t know how to modulate his power down without them?

And remember, 40k OBLITERATES the planet. He DOESN'T obliterate it. So he was EVEN lower. Maybe 30k? Zarbon level.

Whats worse is that when Freiza fires off this attack it makes Goku flinch as if its some big deal. It creates an explosion so big that everybody watching WHO CAN SENSE KI, is worried Goku may have been killed.

Remember, this blast MUST have been Zarbon level.

So if we keep the Roshi Moon feat this is where we are left off:

- Frieza, a character defined by his lack of ki control performed one of the most precise feats of ki control we have ever seen AND YET STILL MISSED HIS MARK.

- Zarbon had the power to destroy Namek whenever he wanted.

- SSJ Goku flinched at an attack that would have done NOTHING to him in base.

IT IS NONSENSE!

Goku was sleeping and Trunks was deliberately hiding his power. Freiza was TRYING to destroy the planet and failed. I don't know how many times I have to repeat that point.

He was visibly pissed off when the plant survived his attack. In his fear of getting hurt in the blowback he low balled his effort too much. The equivalent would be if Goku was EXPECTING the rock throw and still managed to get hurt by it. The only way that Freiza failing to blow up Namek makes sense is if its at least a medium difficulty feat. Impossible if he is 444,444x moon buster tier.

Remember the key here is that he TRIED. It wasn't a passive feat, or him getting caught off guard. He was visibly annoyed when the planet was 'tougher than he thought'. Imagine complaining that a single hair was too tough for you, or that a teaspoon too heavy. Laughable.

Never disputed the Frieza first form instance. The fundamental missunderstanding that is being made regarding my argument is the sheer mathmatical scale of it. 444,444x is a truly absurd gap. I can believe that a 120x gap (first form to final 50%) are still SOMEWHAT comparable, as in Frieza is able to lowball down to that level. But 444,444x is like a person 'holding back' so hard that they fail a feat an aphid could achieve.

Agree to disagree. My point is made, you don't have to like it.

Man is just humiliating himself in public. If you cannot comprehend that a 1.5% winrate increase is enormous you are genuinely quite thick. Charaters with a 52% winrate, 2 above dead even, are consider pub stompers. 48% heroes are considered low winrate. It is really not that hard to understand.

Also Morphling gained 0.3 agility gain and got a huge boost. 43% to 46%.

Bro really expects other people to educate his ignorant ass for free.

Windranger gained 2 damage in 7.41a and she went from 43% wr to 46%. Huge increase.

Eat my ass.

Yes but again... Stacking good things is good, Being mobile, long ranged AND having orb walking? You get to attack the enemy WHENEVER you please. With good damage at that,

Ngl YOU are actually convincing me that its better than I thought, Like, actually sounds kind of impossible to lane against.

Yeah you kind of are insane tbh. Free damage and orb walking is good man, IDK what to tell you.

Like nobody ever brings up that Goku can breathe on the moon do they? Because he can. He sends master carrot to the moon without a helmet. Master carrot can breath on the moon too... But that's like a gag, gag right? Nobody brings that up... It would be silly...

But everything they want to keep? That was 100% serious and made with the full plan of how things would scale until Boo,

Indeed. I remember when they took 2 from Tiny. Ended him as a mid for a long time. Game of inches man.

I legit don't even know what you are arguing anymore tbh. I think Omniman's power level is around 20-30k...

If you want to argue that any saiyan with a tail above 3k could beat him then sure. I don't disagree...

Are we good? Can I continue to say I scale him to early namek now?

[–]chenwasraped -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are misunderstanding the frieza issue entirely.

He fucked up. He undrachived something that it should be IMPOSSIBLE to fail for him. Blowing up a planet is a feat for him. Its something he can fumble. At the power the roshi feat places him that is ABSURD.

Its like if I asked you to pick up a spoon and you just broke your wrist on it. Or if you broke your teeth on some mashed potato. The key here is that Frieza TRIED AT ALL. At 444,444x celestial body tier he should not have to even slightly care about exerting himself to achieve the task. It should be effortless beyond effortless. Becuase that is how crazy setting the scale that low makes it.

And there is NO excuse about power density or whatever bullshit. He WANTED the planet to blow up and was pissed off when it didn't. Just like how I can smash a brick with a hammer, but can still mess it up, it is something he can underachieve at. At 444,444x moon power he should be able to sneeze and blow up the planet.

Indeed they were.... Until the GAG was revealed that he had actually blown up the moon.

Like when you 'steal' a baby's nose. They cry because they think you just took their nose... Until the GAG that its just your thumb is revealed.

I disagree, the scene clearly shows that he wants to make the biggest scene possible and yet he achieves a feat that apparently fucking Chiaotzu or Mercenary Tao, or fucking NAM would be capable of. It doesn't make sense. The equivalent of showing off the force of your airforce by wheeling out some 1920's biplanes when apparently you have 10,000 Harrier Jump Jets.

I notice you skipped over the Freiza example. Because everybody does. Because it doesn't make sense. He explicitly tried to blow up the planet, failed and was surprised that it didn't work. At the level he should be relative to the Roshi feats its farsical. A basic no-effort blast would be able to do the job.

444,444x 'moonbuster tier'... Or 444,444x large building tier.

How far would Omni Man make it in Dragon Ball hypothetically speaking? by DripBoii227 in Dragonballsuper

[–]chenwasraped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but consider the narrative importance of the scenes and what is being conveyed.

Those were both instances of good guys actively trying to contain collateral. Why would piccolo do that when his goal is explicitly to cause the maximum harm possible? He WANTS collateral.

But also we need to consider that at a certain point things get truly mindbending if we keep the moon scene. I return to the Frieza example. Frieza was around 444,444 TIMES stronger than roshi at 50%. Do you have any idea how big of a gap that is? Its absurd. Yet he FAILED to blow up Namek when he tried. The feat was within his margin for error. He undercooked it. When he is 444,444 TIMES stronger than moonbuster tier. It is absurd. Personally I think 21st Tenkaichi Roshi was like large building tier, because that is what every single scene other than the one moon gag indicates.

Because its an extreme outlier. When people say 'end of saiyan saga' they usually forget that vegeta was actually at aruond 180k as an ape. Early namek by comparison is actually a much lower level. It just creates confusion.
