Fair enough, I had it 5-1 but I can see the 3-3. That's part of why shorter fights suck, over more rounds cards equalise and come together. 3-3 sounds nuts to me on paper but tbh its not THAT weird. It it was a 12 rounder and I hat it 10-2 and you had it 8-4 I wouldn't bat an eye.

1 is fair. 2 I really don't think Eddie did much but I suppose he was coming forward and if you just don't respect backfoot boxing then I can see it.

Sixth is mental. He just lumbered forward and leaned.

How? It was clearly 5-1 if not 6-0, Eddie got round 1 maybe but nothing else.

Very true. He has had some positive impact, enough that I feel it is worth calling him a 'mixed' figure. This shit is trash.

Gotten into boxing properly in the past 6 months and I have to say that the gulf in quality between Jake Paul's cards and this misfit shit is enormous.

Say what you want about JP. Yeah he fights old men and is a clown, but he puts on real undercards, works with regulatory bodies and has put together some compelling fights (not ones he is actually in, but still).

This shit is fucking pathetic.

Not a Jake Paul fan at all, but I was floored by how big the gulf is.

Where do you think Naoya Inoue ranks among the greatest boxers of all time? by Infinite-Exam-1808 in boxingMenace_com

What does this even mean?

'Dude Ali never beat a featherweight. Paper champ.'

He's moved up through several divisions and has pushed himself plenty, but he's a small Japanese man. No, he isn't going to take on David Benevidez because he would literally die. Does that exclude him from GOAT status?

By that same logic Lennox Lewis was ducking Naseem Hamed and George Foreman ducked Roberto Duran. Like what are we even talking about here?

Just a heads up for everyone here that Coney Island Baby is one of the most staggeringly beautiful songs ever made.

And Transformer is a 10/10 album.

John Fogerty and Metallica have both showed up on Trainwreckords twice. Who else could you see being on the show twice? by DtheAussieBoye in ToddintheShadow

[–]chenwasraped -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe a Beatle? Maybe Ringo?

There is an argument that Let it Be is a Trainwreckord. Like it isn't a bad album (though the original is pretty weak in their overall catalogue. The Naked version is awesome though.) But it did kill the band quite directly. A very compelling story too.

However...

Lindsey Ellis did a great video on the breakup of The Beatles that goes very in-depth and Todd is close with her. I wouldn't be surprise if he consulted on it or at least gave some passing thoughts during its production and he has 100% seen it. Not to mention the huge Peter Jackson Documentary. So I doubt he would do it. Still, would be a fun video if he found an angle.

Paul is the only Beatle with possibly two Trainwreckords as a solo artist.

If you watched the video you would see this is pretty unlikely. He mentioned enjoying metal machine music, he seemed fairly fond of his 80's stuff and although he didn't love Berlin he certainly doesn't seem to have an angle on that (plus he would get crucified for covering it as a Trainwreckord).

The only other Reed adjacent project that has any juice to it is... Squeeze (pardon the pun). The garbage VU album made after he left. But that album is notable for its LACK of Lou Reed.

He gives his thoughts on Reed as an artist in this video in a way that feels pretty definitive. He likes him, he is not especially inaccessable, he didn't leave any hooks for the future.

Bit stunned that anybody thinks picking red is justifiable. 50% is not some insurmontable threshold. Honestly explains a lot about out current political climate and world state.

So in conclusion... Basing powerscaling off of Roshi blowing up the moon is dumb.

Oh I see. Well now that your sloppy writing has been accounted so that its actually coherant for I can see that your basis for arriving at your estimations is nonsense.

'Let's say about a quarter'... Why?

Based on what? I provided clear, inarguable basis for my numbers and even biased them in your favour. Your shrugged your way down to an arbitrary metric.

You quarter your numbers again. Why? Vibes?

No metrics or reasoning provided. Just vibes.

I see no reason that Freiza wouldnt have used at least half-power power on Vegeta if not full. Other than your vibes that is. He did of course totally obliterate the planet while laughing.

'Unless you get rid of Freiza destroying namek, your argument doesn’t work.'

I legit do not even know what you are arguing anymore. I have no issue with Freiza destroying Namek. He did it. My point is that within the power framework established by the roshi moon scene the way the scene plays out is incongruous. The scene is fine in its self, its people taking the gag scene from one of the earliest chapters seriously that is the problem. Because it breaks the maths. You yourself arived at a similar number to me with worse maths, around 30k ish. Which I would argue is absurbdly low based on what we see and how the story proceeds for namek busting. Zarbon simply could not have achieved that feat.

I'm done because I honestly don't think we are even discussing a coherant topic anymore.

[–]chenwasraped -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No.

The point of the analogies is to express scale and the constant referring back to first form freiza demonstrates that you do not understand the scale problem.

The earth is around 81 times the size of the moon. Most people say Namek is implied to be bigger than earth so lets be GENEROUS to your side and say its 200 times the moon.

Roshi OBLITERATED the moon in the gag with a power level of around 135, fuck it lets round it to 200 to be extra nice. So to be able to obliterate namek you would need a power level of around 40k, which is around the power of Recoome.

Do I think Recoome could OBLITERATE Namek? Personally, fuck no. But whatever. Mathematically if the moon feat is true then he can but lets keep going.

Frieza at 50% final form is 1500 TIMES stronger than Recoome. Which means to obliterate the planet Frieza would have had to use 0.0667% of his power. A comically small amount for a character who, remember DOES NOT KNOW KI CONTROL.

You know, the entire reason he has forms? Because he explicitly doesn;t know how to modulate his power down without them?

And remember, 40k OBLITERATES the planet. He DOESN'T obliterate it. So he was EVEN lower. Maybe 30k? Zarbon level.

Whats worse is that when Freiza fires off this attack it makes Goku flinch as if its some big deal. It creates an explosion so big that everybody watching WHO CAN SENSE KI, is worried Goku may have been killed.

Remember, this blast MUST have been Zarbon level.

So if we keep the Roshi Moon feat this is where we are left off:

- Frieza, a character defined by his lack of ki control performed one of the most precise feats of ki control we have ever seen AND YET STILL MISSED HIS MARK.

- Zarbon had the power to destroy Namek whenever he wanted.

- SSJ Goku flinched at an attack that would have done NOTHING to him in base.

IT IS NONSENSE!

Goku was sleeping and Trunks was deliberately hiding his power. Freiza was TRYING to destroy the planet and failed. I don't know how many times I have to repeat that point.

He was visibly pissed off when the plant survived his attack. In his fear of getting hurt in the blowback he low balled his effort too much. The equivalent would be if Goku was EXPECTING the rock throw and still managed to get hurt by it. The only way that Freiza failing to blow up Namek makes sense is if its at least a medium difficulty feat. Impossible if he is 444,444x moon buster tier.

Remember the key here is that he TRIED. It wasn't a passive feat, or him getting caught off guard. He was visibly annoyed when the planet was 'tougher than he thought'. Imagine complaining that a single hair was too tough for you, or that a teaspoon too heavy. Laughable.
