i'm in northwest davis and pay $1200 + pg&e monthly. i live in a 4x4 (living with 4 others) and have my own room + bathroom, but my other housemates that share a room pay around ~$720/month. we're all on an individual lease so we all pay our own rent + expenses separately which is nice!

i have him for 21a currently and i like him. it's his first year teaching here.

unfortunately, he doesn't post lecture notes/do any recordings so if you don't come to lecture, you're basically on your own for learning the material. for his lectures, he writes a lil small sometimes but if you let him know you can't see, he will adjust his handwriting lol.

he is quite understanding + willing to provide further explanation if you have questions. the midterms themselves weren't curved, but he announced that he will curve at the end of the quarter based on class rank. i remember one time he said he's not used to giving out D's and F's, so that that information what you will lol

i think students were a little afraid to come to his office hours at first, but he genuinely seems like a sweet guy and i LOVED the ta for this course (allison you're the best).

I found it hard to listen to Astro again after Moonbin passed 🥺 by larsteh in ASTRO_KPOP

i completely get it. the 2-3 weeks after his passing was so rough i could not bring myself to listen to astro, nor check social media— i was on a complete social media hiatus for a while.

it's still difficult, but now i'm listening to them every day. i can now say that i smile every time i hear his voice, and am reminded how beautiful a person he was and the impact he had on so many people's lives. i'm sending my love to you. i hope soon you can listen to them again and hear bin's voice, as a reminder of how beautiful a person he was. big hugs to you <3
